10/10During our stay in Florence, we’d been to several restaurants and La Grotta was the best. We visited 3 times and every visit was successful. Would recommend who visit Florence.

10/10It was a beautiful and amazing place from the moment we entered. The restaurant looks very clean and aesthetically pleasing, the host was very kind and welcoming and since it was a little late for lunch, it was not crowded, the way I prefer it. The food we ordered, Tagliatelle Al Tartufo & Gnocchi Gamberi, along with the wine and dessert were excellent and we couldn’t help but enjoying every spoon. There was nothing even remotely close to wrong in our beautiful and romantic dining experience and I would certainly recommend others to try the food here.

5.5/10Main waiter was friendly and helpful, but ended up with different servers. They only have a digital menu which is awful as it does not allow easy selection. Go back to a paper menu please. Digital for a dining experience is NOT the future.

Goodmorning and thank you for the comment. Pity you have given us a low rate just because of the digital menù,quite unfair I should say.After the covid it was absolutely necessary the use of it and we opted in keeping it.But my staff is always there if needed to help.Ready to answer at any question…..But never mind ,hoping you enjoyed your dinner at least.

6/10Service was very very slow. Staff were friendly. Beef was tough and chewy but they kindly brought another instead. Wine - an excellent Brunello for only €10 a glass. Food would have been overpriced without The Fork offer. Sorry - can’t recommend; other places we’ve been in Florence this week were much better in every way.
