Cena con amigo madrileño de visita en Donosti que queda encantado con restaurante, trato del personal y comida. Sitio muy agradable al que siempre apetece volver.

This is a great restaurant with fantastic elevated traditional dishes. We were surprised to see the restaurant was full of locals since it is in a hotel but after we ate, we understood. why. There are a lot of options in San Sebastian but this one definitely should not be missed. We had the seasonal vegetables, black rice, and steak tartare, to start. Followed by the Chuleta "ribeye" for two with all the sides (basic green salad, fries, and pimientos al piquillo) and the Rape fish (also for two) both were excellent. For dessert the torrija (custard like brioche with ice cream). Great price and quality of the food especially since you would never pay this back in the US for a steak dinner. Around 65E per person with 2 bottles of wine.

There are many informal places to eat in Saint Sebastian, but if you want a more formal experience this restaurant is very good. It overlooks the harbour. Food was very good - particularly the plate of Iberian Ham and the squid casserole. Steak Tartare could have more flavouring (possibly more mustard than I like and would have enjoyed capers etc) but was tender and well prepared. Good wine list. Staff busy and attentive.

Fantastic restaurant, we really enjoyed the high quality food and great service. Chef Luis did a great job with preparing the best dishes. We will definitely come back!!

We had the tasting menu and they were able to adjust for a pescatarian diet. The food was good. The restaurant is nicely decorated but open to the bar so a little less quiet and serene than the decor suggests. The staff was nice but there were a few small mistakes that made it seem like they were still figuring things out. And it took a really long time to get the check when we were done.
