9.5/10Delicious food and very kind staff and water. He had a lot of work as many people. Just three points: no more mise en bouche as last time…. It’s a pity and no aperitif biscuits. It’s definitely missing when you take a drink before the meal, Two little half bread toasts for the foie gras (when you got 3 nice slices it’s definitely not enough and you need to eat baguette.

3.5/10Whilst the staff and service were very pleasant. And the location by the water rather tranquil. The food was terrible. Every dish we ordered was poor. The mussels were tiny, overcooked and with very little flavour. The starter selection was layers of flavourless egg, puréed green peas with spray can cream in the top and a stale salmon blini. But worse was still to be served. Fish and chips with a thick soggy batter around an unknown fish was inedible. The chips fried in unclean and oil that wasn’t hot enough. And then a risotto that was clearly days old and reheated. Certainly not made fresh. It was thick like rice pudding. We would never eat here again.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your opinion. The only thing I recognize is our fish & chips, the recipe of which we have since changed. As for the mussels we serve, they are bouchot mussels. Their small sizes are completely normal

I am surprised by your comment on our cream mussels. We prepare them with a “marinière” base (white wine, onion, celery, aromatic herbs) and we add farmhouse cream at the last moment.

7/10This place is all about what you order…some of the items we had were really good and some were just ok. The side salad was fresh, large and tasty. Langoustines were not great as the meat in some were very mushy but the fish and chips were quite good as were the mussels and the fish of the day. Some desserts were better than others - the Ill Flotante is not the best I’ve had but the rhubarb tart was great. Price points aren’t bad and the staff is excellent and very attentive. I wish I had gotten our waitresses name as she was a 10 out of 10. I would return but my choices would be different. I’d love to see better selection on the menu.

3/10When we came to the restaurant, we were escorted to our table right away. However, for the waiter to come next time took forever. My friend ordered oysters, which were decent. I ordered pink shrimp and when they brought it out, it was cold and not deveined . Doesn’t look very appealing and doesn’t taste great when cold with cold butter as a sauce. Next, came half cooked tuna, I never tried anything worse than that. The taste was awful. And It came with over cooked vegetables. The last dish we tried was mussels in cream. It was decent, even though it looked like they just poured cream on top without actually cooking mussels in it. What killed it, was when i looked inside of the mussels and saw little crabs. They were almost in every mussels. Maybe it’s expected but I sure didn’t expect it. Just didn’t look right. And the price isn’t cheap. Maybe it’s just me, because the reviews were great online and there were a lot of people in the restaurant. I wouldn’t personally go back….. ever…. and I don’t think I’ll be eating shrimp or mussels any time soon.

Je n'en attendais pas moins de votre part, que ce commentaire diffamatoire! Pour prendre votre commande rapidement, il aurait fallu que vous soyez en même temps à table et que vous sortiez le nez de votre téléphone portable! Ensuite, les crevettes roses sont cuites et servies froides avec de la mayonnaise, c'est comme cela en France, ce n'étaient pas des gambas! Puis, vous n'avez vraiment pas de chance, un petit crabe dans chaque moule! Vous êtes sérieuse? Comment pouvez vous le savoir alors que vous n'avez mangé qu'un tiers de votre cocotte? Pour information, nous préparons nos moules à la crème avec une base de moule marinière et nous y ajoutons de la crème fermière. Quant à notre thon mi-cuit, il est effectivement mi-cuit, c'est le principe! Le thon rouge doit rester rosé à cœur.

9/10We have returned to the Maison Bleue many times - usually for lunch but it was just as lovely for dinner on a winter evening as sitting outside in better weather. We love the seafood platters. One tiny disappointment this time - the basket of chips was cold when brought to the table but it was taken away with apologies and not charged. Generally, we love this restaurant which has a great ambience and clearly popular with locals.

9.5/10Had such good results with The Fork that we decided to drive out of our way to go here. Had hoped to see the water , but got there too late. Waiter was quite nice and helped with us and our little French. Food was quite good. Was so excited to get desert only to find out they were out of Madeline's. Got the apple pie which was wonderful, and I do not eat apple pie. Only issue was a little boy nearby who had a tantrum.

7.5/10The food was great but unfortunately it was relatively overpriced when looking at the prices of other similar restaurants. The service was not very good I’m still waiting for the side of mayonnaise I asked for at the beginning of the meal with my appetizer.
