Upton first site the restaurant looks very welcoming, and is located within a nice street with plenty of parking arrangements. When welcomed inside, you could choose between the terrace or inside. We chose the terrace and started with an aperitif, and were after asked what to choose from the Menu that was presented to us on I-Pad's, which is unusual but provided a nice form of interaction.


We made our choices and we chose to go with "a la carte", starters, main course and desert. We were initially provided with an "amuse bouche" which consisted out of a cream with bits of Trout. I then had a starter, a Mozzarella/tomato salad, followed by a main course of Maigret de Canard on point, followed by a brownie with a ball of vanilla ice cream.


The food tasted great made and me feel right at home. The food was rich, and did not contain any unnecessary added flavors which made the taste jump out instead of masquerading what the dish stands for. Please go to this restaurant, give it a chance, you will love it!

All the staff were very polite and attentive. Food was magnificent. Atmospheric and a true French experience. Will return soon.

Service was good and atmosphere pleasant.
But crab and wasabi starter had insufficient wasabi.
Salmon main course was overcooked and dry. It was accompanied by an overcomplicated array of vegetables.
Coffee was weak.

I was served under cooked halibut as was my wife, this is a difficult fish to cook but on a short menu where you are only offering two main dishes you would hope that they were excellent and expect them to be adequate. After returning the fish (it was not possible to even fight it off of the cartilage) we received back to mutilated plates in a pool of caper butter.
