The waiter had a little accident while serving our meals. But the staff of the restaurant and the chef were so friendly that it wasn’t so serious. The food was very tasty.

This is one of those special little hidden gems with chef and staff who take pride in their restaurant. Chef said she gets fresh seafood everyday and the end product speaks for itself. Wonderful experience….be sure to get reservations.

My family and I visited this seafood restaurant on 23/7. We enjoyed our dinner there a lot since this restaurant not only provided high quality of food but also superb service. Waiter and waitresses knew exactly how to make customers feel welcomed. Our favorites were the scampi and the seafood soup.

We came here because the Michelin guide recommended it, and it lived up to those expectations. The walls of the restaurant are covered with awards and it’s clear to see why. The staff were friendly and efficient, patient with our faltering French. It was all simple food, leaving nowhere to hide. The fish (sole à la meunière for me and cod for my husband) were both cooked to perfection and served with crisp fries and a little salad. We couldn’t have asked for better.

Teresa and Mario's La Maree has long been my favorite restaurant in Brussels. I return every time I come to this beautiful city. The food, the presentation, the ambiance, and the service are always the absolute best. Chef Teresa cares about every element of what goes on your plate and she frequently greets guests too! I highly recommend this place! My favorites are the fresh anchovy appetizer and the steamed skate wing. Incomparable!

We greatly enjoyed our mussels and frites at this unpretentious seafood restaurant in the heart of Brussels. The service was attentive and the menu was straightforward and elegant. We'll certainly be returning here on subsequent trips to the city.

Delicious, fresh seafood. Crab salad, escargot, Mussels and “fried” cod - not deep fried, rather pan fried and yummy. Really great dinner. Highly recommend.

The shrimp croquettes were excellent as usual, but the pan-fried dish - just average and the fries that came with weren’t impressive. Liked that they carry Harney tea.

This is a restaurant that has been family owned for 43 years in a local area just 10 minutes walk from the tourist area. The service was the best; fast, observant and friendly. The food was outstanding!! Because of the location, away from the tourist area, the friendly owner and staff, I will come back next time in Brussels!! Made a very special memory for me!

This is a really excellent restaurant. Service was friendly and quick. The food was outstanding - we had a variety of starters and mains that were all great - and the desserts were spot on. Would very happily return and recommend to others.

The owner welcomed me and asked if I preferred indoor or outdoor dining. I decided indoor. I had moules frite. The smell’s from the kitchen were wonderful. And the food was even better. The house mussels and house dessert tart were to die for. Wish I could return often.
