Excellent
Restaurant fidèle à sa traditionnelle cote à Lyon
Outstanding food, wine and service
Service was very attentive and personal. We enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was of the highest quality and presented beautifully. La Mère Brazier lived up to the quality of its Michelin stars. Thank You.
This food courses were the main problem during my dining experience here. I chose the full tasting menu option which was, except for the desert courses, pretty much flavorless. I have had numerous one Michelin star dinners, in France and worldwide, that were much better. The ambiance of the restaurant was terrible for a evening dinner at a supposed 2 Michelin star restaurant. Loud and obnoxious group of diners seated in the same dining area as me and other patrons. I am not sure what La Mere Brazier is, but I know it is nowhere near a two Michelin star restaurant. This restaurant is still riding the coat tails of it's original chef, and has lost a star since then. It will not be long before it loses another Michelin star and it should.
This famous restaurant is really splendid. The staff, the dishes, the atmosphere are great..The wine cellar is impressive. Very beautiful design.
The staff were perfect. They were polite, respectful, intelligent, and had a good sense of humor. The food was lovely and it was a true culinary experience. My only negative point is that as a solo diner, I would have appreciated being seated near a window or in one of the corners rather than in the center of the room. I felt uncomfortable where I was sitting.
One of the best cuisine in Lyon!
Absolutely met expectations. Very engaging attentive staff. Beautiful food, presentation, and flavour. Went for lunch and would highly recommend.
Deserving of three Michelin stars!
Super!!!
A true experience
Sublime
We ordered the 3- course classic menu. Didn’t expect that it would be an extended 3-hr lunch! Nevertheless, the staff were courteous and friendly. The wait in between course helps to digest your food before you take in the next course. Each course portion is just right. Presentation of food is excellent. We had an enjoyable time in the restaurant.
Exceptionnel !
If you are looking for traditional French food with a twist and formal service, La Mere Brazier is the right place for you. We want for lunch, getting the business lunch of appetizer, entree, water, wine and coffee which was perfect. The kitchen sends out several amuse bouchée and a couple dessert items. Amazing service.
In English - this was a very special meal in a lovely restaurant with very attentive staff. Truly a 10/10 performance. Merci, merci, beaucoup! We look forward to our next visit.
Excellent !
The food was ok. More like a bistro than a gastro. The desserts were fantastic.
Incredible dinner, incredible service they were so lovely to our children, the best experience. So happy we had this opportunity!
Just superb! Expensive but with it.
