5/10Omelette was small, overcooked, and tasted like fish? I guess the eggs Benedict was edible, but only one? For over 15€?!? At these wildly exorbitant prices, I was hoping someone would know how to cook eggs, but I was mistaken. Coffee was both bitter AND weak. I wish I could give the server more points, but anyone who works in food service should be able to recognize completely overcooked eggs. Again, especially at these extremely high prices.

5.5/10Food wasn't as great as I expected. The french toast was very soggy in the middle. Overall, I had a much better breakfast for a similar price at a nearby hotel.

10/10Absolutely excellent as one might expect from a hotel of this quality. The staff were attentive and efficient and the ability to cope with my wife’s dietary requirements were second to none. We even got a small takeaway box of bread and cakes for her. Food was tasty and well prepared. An excellent start to the day!

10/10We dined at La Mezzanine just after arriving to Porto on a red eye flight. The food, service, and ambience were perfect to relax before going up to our room. Ana was a wonderful host and checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were doing well. Although all of the food that we had was good, the red wine was excellent. We also really enjoyed the tea to close out the meal. The tea is also made with a neat method. We would highly recommend this restaurant!

4/10Long story short we have ordered two coffees (approx. 4,5€ each), one egg benedict (15€) and one porridge (10€), which would be a total of approx 35€. We have paid a total 37.51€ and they claimed to have applied the 30% discount offered via thefork reservation. If you calculate, it's quite easy to see that it doesn't add up. This place is not honest and food is really disappointing. We do not recommend!

10/10We have been to the Mezzanine quite a few times with friends, as we think it is the best place for brunch in Porto! The food is always delicious, the variety is excellent but this last time was absolutely exquisite. They were launching their new cocktail menu, and were kind enough to provide us with some complimentary samples and they were wonderful. We started with a lovely Bellini then had a delicious donut cocktail followed by my favourite, a scrumptious lemon merengue pie! We have always had excellent service at the mezzanine, Ana is always so helpful, kind, professional and really makes you feel at home! I hope we can return to the mezzanine really soon! I can’t recommend it enough! Absolutely 5 stars!

9.5/10Everything was delicious, the s.ervice was really good and the building is beautiful. However, we had booked with the 30% off deal through The Fork and it wasn't honoured. We did forget to check ourselves until after we had left, so we understand they could've forgotten as well. We sent an email about it and still haven't received a reply.

10/10One of the best brunch experiences in my life! First we got a bit suprised with a buffet brunch instead of ala card but the suprise was very positive. The food at the buffet was amazing, good quality and very tasty and we could order extra eggs as well. The servis was at the top level and thanks to a lady who seems to be manager of the place we had en excellent experience. We will definitely be back next time in Porto!

10/10The breakfast is amazing! From the reception to the after service. The food is very good and we can order everything! All fresh and tasteful. The impeccable service from Marina, Andreia and Paulo were a plus! They are super nice and cordial! Is a place to come back over and over in Porto.

10/10The best brunch in town, no doubt! Amazing experience, with a great selection of food, endless guest-oriented service and an intimate atmosphere. There are oysters, fresh prawns, tasty pancakes and jams, eggs, yummy cocktails and a superb table full of desserts! You must try the codfish. It's delicious!
