After a very wet day in San Sebastian our meal here really lifted our spirits. The tasting menu was fabulous and the recommended wine gorgeous. All in all a restaurant I am very happy to recommend.

Went to restaurant based on Trip Advisor comments. It did not live up to expectations. We were one of first dinner seatings and were told the roast lamb shoulder was not available. The “Veal” Rib Eye that I ordered was the worst veal I have ever had. It wa a tough piece of beef. Several surrounding diners also complained and one sent the meat back to kitchen. Kink Prawn Salad was tasty and well presented, but the promised “King Prawn” was ordinary shrimp. Service was mediocre at best. Some of the wait staff arrived after diners were seated. There were also long gaps in service and we had to pour our own wine. Based on our experience and the 41 Euro price, I would not visit this restaurant again.

The food is fine. I booked a table at 1 pm, cause it’s too difficult find a parking place, it almost cost 45 mins in finding a parking place. So we will be a little late I called the restaurant. When I told the service we will be a little late come, then I heared the service man said “ joder”, it’s unbelievable, he said that!

The tasting menu was well worth it. The serves were generous, the presentation was fabulous and the tastes were delightful. We would definitely recommend the restaurant and the tasting menu. The table next to us chose the set menu for 4 euros less. We got the better deal. The restaurant was a calm relief from the bustling pintxos bars. We had a great night.

The food was very good. But the staff seemed a little overwhelmed by a large table from the San Sebastián film festival. Quaint and intimate setting not amenable to large groups.

We ate here last night. We had a booking at 730pm and they let us in 5 minutes early. Beautiful dinning room all done in white and tan. Our waiter was helpful with our wine selection. Had the 45 menu and it was fabulous. Excellent mushroom risotto with the foie gras. The second course was local pork and duck confit, wow!
Highly recommend!

They need to think. I came alone because my friend got sick. Lonely guests - less interesting. Had to ask for bread. The white wine offered was warm and remained warmed until the end of the meal. Good food came quickly. As in a well performing machine. Go somewhere else and have a nice experience.

The food was excellent: all the dishes combined an exquisite set of flavors, especially since they were served in menus, and the whole experience at the restaurant was worth visiting it. I especially liked duck confit, mushroom ravioli with foie cream, and lamb - it was very tender. A very nice place with delicious food in San-Sebastian!

Cuisine was rather good.two variants of tasting menus, and some options for sharing dishes.tge only one thing we didn't like is that there were only Spanish vines.if the vine card was broader,it would be great
