We went without knowing about it. Our first impression wasn’t great: not sure how to park the car, not sure where the entrance was, surroundings not very appealing, and the waiter was grouchy because we were 3 instead of two! Then we sat down. The napkins are fabric, the table sets were a nice wooden board, nice cristal wine glasses, the waiter got a bit nicer, and the dishes on the menu were interesting. There was a vegetarian choice which is very unusual in a French restaurant. We each had a different meal and they were all delicious and original. The cook greeted us at the end. I would recommend and will go back.

We quite enjoyed our meal but it wasn’t anything special. We found it very expensive for the quality compared to lots of other restaurants we have visited. 100 euro for 2 people with a bottle of wine. We are sorry this wasn’t as good as we hoped.

We have been wanting to try La Pierre Blanche for several years following recommendations from friends and we finally made it this week! The food was exceptional and represented extremely good value for money with a terrific selection of food that you would struggle to find at mainstream restaurants in Villeneuve Sur Lot. Well done La Pierre Blanche and I hope you receive the support you deserve to continue offering such great food and we look forward to visiting again.

We were eating at La Pierre Blanche to celebrate our friend's birthday as we have done for the last three years. Everything about the restaurant is just right and I would recommend it without any reservation, excellent food and superb value for money.

Pierre Blanche is a fantastic restaurant, there are several menus giving you quite a wide choice or you could go a la carte. This was our second visit and the food was again superb. It is both traditional and creative and we couldn't fault any of the dishes that we had. The desserts are particularly good so make sure you have a healthy appetite.
