10/10This place is a true hidden gem. If you love beautiful, made with love italian food with warm and friendly service (thank you Fabio!), you need to come here. The first visit of many for us. If you go make sure you try the Arancini Rice Fritter with spinach and mozzarella to start and then either the Lasagna Classica or the Ravioli Ricotta e Spinaci and Parmesan Butter finished by the tiramisu. Really reasonable prices for the amount and quality of what you get. A must visit for any foodie.

10/10"I recently visited la piola Italian , and I have to say, I was blown away by the slow-cooked beef pasta. The beef was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor, and the pasta was cooked just right, with a delicious sauce that complemented the dish perfectly. The portion size was generous and left me feeling satisfied without being overly full. Not only was the food outstanding, but the atmosphere and service were also top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that every need was met, and the restaurant had a cozy, inviting ambiance that made for a lovely dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend la piola and their slow-cooked beef pasta. It's the perfect dish for anyone looking for a hearty and delicious Italian meal. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu!"

Piola is not an Italian word, but is our dialect to describe a rural family run eatery, a destination for the families in the village.
We open early for coffees and breakfasts then from 12.00 noon light lunches from the deli counter and a freshly cooked small menu with specialty dishes from our region.
We source authentic Italian and regional ingredients plus the support of local Yorkshire suppliers.
