About the restaurant La Plage Gourmande

Relaxed but genteel La plage Gourmande offers quality food and wine in a bustling beachfront setting. Nems du confit de canard (duck spring rolls) and tuna tartare were perfectly presented as were the main course cod and a special of the day - Monkfish. The coulant au chocolat dessert was scrumptious. This restaurant is well worth a visit.

nice place, but seeing the other reviews, the expectations were higher. Took a bit long before first served. Selected wine not available. 1 gamba unpealed. When we are told the children get fries, you expect fries, not patatas bravas (which are still a bit rare, not well done here). Mixed tapas plate of 25 euros bit disappointing; did contain the easy stuff, gave a bit the catcha feeling. OK, you want to earn money, but 25 euro's for a plate of tapas is still money. So it was good, but I am less enthusiastic than my predecessors.
