At first, looking inside, we had low expectations. But entering we received a warm welcome, and led down below to the basement where it was very authentic. The service was chill but very friendly and accurate The dunner was excellent and the specialty of the house -Some sort of chicken was a pleasant surprise. All and all a very nice evening

My husband and I both had veal in a mushroom sauce—it was very good as was the foi gras starter. A tropical fruit mousse and chocolate mousse were also delicious. We ate on the first floor and it was small but charming.

Had the same food here last year and it was gorgeous, tonight very bad, the steak I got had about 1 square inch of meat on it, the chips very greasy.

The food was fine, although my main dish of ray with potatoes needed an accompaniment of a green vegetable in my opinion. Service however was far too fast and disinterested - the starter arriving well before we had drunk our aperitifs and the main course arriving almost as soon as we had finished the starters. Our evening was over within not much more than an hour of entering the restaurant, despite desserts and coffee! A popular place, however, with most tables occupied by the time we left - perhaps rushing us out gave a chance for another cover! In which case I would recommend a later booking than ours of 7.30 pm
