Vitres bon souvenir
From the warm welcome from the lady of the house we knew we were in for a special evening. When we wrote to book we indicated interest in their pheasant for two dinner with a sauce made with truffles they gather themselves locally. Madame Bonnans recommended a wine that went beautifully with the fois gras starter (which included a fois gras creme brulee) and the main course. The young lady serving us was friendly and attentive. Dessert was an unexpected wonderful ice cream made with armagnac and prunes. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Bonnans at the end of the meal. It was a delightful evening made better only by learning that their son has a restaurant near us in NYC serving the cuisine of Gascony. Can't wait to try it!

Marvelous food and service. We all had duck which was delicious as were the accompanying courses. We will certainly return before we have to head home.
Loved the experience of eating in this restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented.Comfortable surroundings and general atmosphere. Will be going again soon.

Very welcoming. Outstanding starter - Good entree but vegetables not great - Desserts looked incredible but too full to eat one. Very good coffee.
