The service and food were excellent. I had the duck breast with foie gras and caramelised apple and the combination was amazing and delicious. To accompany this I had a green salad and green beans. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the chalkboard menu great explanation of the options from the host and the excellent food.

If you love steak, this is the place to go. They have many choices, and they give great explanations. The portions, including the entrees, are enormous. It is well worth the price. it is a small, intimate restaurant, and I highly recommend it.

Amazing beef, tartares were excellent (we cooked up leftovers as mince the following day), the steak was divine, frites maison were also delicious. All paired with a very nice Syrah from Lascaux. A memorable if very foodie evening!

The steak was great and the wine excellent. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The meat is good quality but it is on the pricey side. The starters were very expensive and not good value for money at all. They could do with turning off the TV blaring out sports too.

It was one of the highlights of our weekend stay in Bordeaux and we would never have found it without a local recommendation. It is a small family run restaurant, so book ahead, and enjoy !

The Bellota, meats (Rubia Gallega being my personal favorite) and the wines were absolutely delicious and we were warmfully welcomed by Jeff, the owner, who made our lunch even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely come back as soon as I’m back in Bordeaux.
