About the restaurant ''La Table de Cédric Burtin'' à l'Abbaye de Maizières

Excellent meal in lovely old abbey cloisters. Food of the highest quality, served by people with a passion for food and, whilst not cheap, still very good value for money.

The food was excellent but the service was painfully slow. There were two servers for six tables but it seemed like one server was doubling up in the kitchen as we saw him in an apron at times. Meal went well over 3 hours which by that time we just couldn't wait to get out.

As good a meal out as we have eaten out. Recognition by the Guides will follow for the future.
