10/10We had with friends a wonderful and delicious dinner. Service was as usual very good. One of our favorite restaurants in the Lorgues area.

8/10The gentleman (owner?) in a suite is always very nice and welcoming. The food was good, a bit on the cold side, but with a nice variety. We arrived at 12:30 for brunch, the main dishes weren’t ready until 1 PM. Shortly afterwards the deviled eggs, salad, shrimp, lentils, etc were removed and not replenished. A few minutes later the same faith happened to the salmon, pasta, and mussels. Considering one needs to book, they should know in advance how much food to prepare. There was a nice spread of desserts, unfortunately we didn’t care for their taste. The brunch included juices: I was intrigued, until I found out they are from a machine. Out waitress was rude, despite me addressing her in French (I’m fluent): she really got me when she asked if I knew what brunch was and how it worked, expecting me to confirm and explain to her. Honestly, I didn’t get to my size by chance, I hade quite a few all you can eat buffet brunches. The best part was the bread: their own backery is amazing.

7/10The food was the ok but not very adventurous or different, which puts it in the same space as less expensive brasseries. We were a party of 4 and we all agreed on one non-food related issue: the chairs. Wrought iron on cobbles might look nice but it's uncomfortable past an hour. Overall, it wasn't bad but not good enough to revisit.

8.5/10This is a charming setting with friendly and attentive service. The food was mostly good but my main course - a pasta special - was a bit disappointing. It was a bit lacking in flavour. My husband however had another pasta plate, with pork belly, which was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the desserts.

10/10We very much enjoyed our experience. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food overall was excellent. You will not be disappointed to come and eat here. If I was to nit pick, there was just one or two things that could have been better. We both had the beef carpaccio.....top marks for its execution and presentation......it was extremely thinly sliced and it melted in the mouth like butter but it lacked huge flavour....it would have been better if it was made with beef that was hung a bit longer. I had the entrecôte...excellent i could not fault this dish. My partner had the squid ink risotto and cod dish. Unfortunately when it was served, the fish was cool and we would have preferred if the skin had been crispy rather than moist. The plate of cheeses was excellent and their in-house bread is fabulous. The lemon meringue dessert was well executed and demonstrated a skilled pastry chef. It wasn't overly sweet but I would have preferred a more intense lemon flavour. So you see it was only the small things .....I highly recommended coming and eating here....the setting is idyllic and the château's wine won't disappoint either.
