Pasta portions are large, perfect for sharing. Staff are great and the food was delicious. 100% would recommend. Location is also good, located across from the shopping centre

We like the food at La Tagliatella - but please...sweep up the patio! Be ready to open on time at 8:30 - and sweep up the patio. The amount of leaves and litter makes a very bad first impression outside.

We had booked with the Fork, but they didn't seem to be expecting us and didn't greet us, just showed us to one of the many empty tables. The menu is rather odd, with few appetisers. The ones available are very expensive and mainly bread based. We ordered a focaccia to share but the waiter crossed it off the order when we ordered a risotto and a pasta dish as he said it would be too much food. Rather odd we thought, but didn't push it, as it was rather embarrassing. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was eventually dumped on the table without the waitress even looking at us, let alone pouring us a glass. The food itself was good, but there was nothing about this restaurant that made us want to linger, let alone return. This faux Italian restaurant is in the same building as the Melia Hotel and is clearly aimed at expense account clients. Not recommended - it was the worst food experience we had in our 10 day stay in this part of Spain.

Three of us shared a salad to begin--crab and 2 prawns on top: crisp lettuce, all fresh ingredients, balsamic dressing. The waiter correctly advised that 3 pasta dishes were plenty for 4 adults. Two out of three of them were great. The third, a vongole, was over-salted and marred by an absence of clams. I had three clam shells in my pasta but only one clam. Quite disappointing. We shared two chocolate cakes for dessert, which were lovely--not really chocolate cake but more of a mouse with a thin chocolate topping. Our waiter was a tall thin lad from Basque country; he was amazing! He tried out it English as we were ordering--very fun as well as efficient. We hadn't realized that this was one of a chain and would certainly not know by the quality of the dishes. We would go back.

Nothing more than OK. Typical chain restaurant - food and service reasonable - no surprises and nothing out of the ordinary.
