Delicious food and excellent wine recommendation (not overly expensive but great pairing with the food). Tasting menu was adapted for us as my wife does not eat meat. Only negative is that some dishes were quite salty. Otherwise definitely worth the recommendation we had received and we would love to come back when we visit Madrid again.

We enjoyed our meal in La Tasquita de Enfrente. We received good advice about a white and a red wine. Food was generally tasty and well made up. We missed a bit of meat in the degustation menu and the "main" dish (tuna) was a bit greasy.
Service is very correct, quick and friendly.

Too much fish in the tasting menu. The Russian salad was very ordinary for this type of menu.

My husband and I enjoy fine dining and decided to give La Tasquita de Enfrente a try given its Michelin recommendation and the fact that they accept well-behaved dogs. We took a good friend from New York there at lunch to celebrate his birthday, and our chihuahua, Susie, got to tag along. What a treat! Three of us had the tasting menu -- classic dishes from the restaurant, artfully presented, and in just the right portion size. The food is delicious, the ambiance comfortable, and the service good without being intrusive. They have an extensive wine list featuring wines from around Spain and around the world. The wines were served at the perfect temperature. Pricey for Madrid, but well worth the price given the quality and overall dining experience. We look forward to returning!

Amazing place, the chef proposes to you a 6-courses dinner that just blew my mind. Great quality products, generous service, and impressive cellar. Would advise strongly anyone with the budget to go!

When one offers a tasting menu, the client might think this restaurant has something to say about not only food, but products, manipulation, arrangements, etc. However, the food at the Tasquita is mediocre, obviously superior (not far superior) in flavour and product than average Tascas, but very behind expectations. The tasting menu (70€) its amateur, naming just a few dishes: 1. Cured Turnip - the cocido sauce overwhelmed the aromas of black truffle and saturated the dish with a very jelly-like texture. 2. Ensaladilla is a classic and generally free tapa. Paying 70€ just don't add salmon roe and feel great about it. It is just offensive. 3. Meatball with mini diced fried potatoes, again classic tapa, nothing to say. Overall, I advice not to give in this trend of doing a tasting menu, just refrain if there is nothing worth communicating. Tasquita de Enfrente is a Tasca, not great food, just average, pretending to be actually good, which is not.

My 10th or 11 th time to eat here and it just gets better! La Tasquita continues to be my favorite restaurant in all of Spain. From the smoked eel with pear to the lightly fried sea anemone to the cardoon with almond milk and artichokes, every bite was perfectly executed and beautifully seasoned. The chef here is highly creative, brilliantly technical and the consummate host as he "touches" each table. I'll be back, but not soon enough!

This is our six or seventh visit over as many years that we've been visiting Madrid from New York City, and it remains one of our favorite dining spots in the world. The food is special, the service is flawless, the value undeniable. Arturo is gifted at pairing wines with courses: this is a treat in itself. Tasq

The chef was wonderful, accommodating of our quirks, and presented us with beautifully prepared and seemingly simple (but not) dishes. They were all exquisite. The wine was not expensive but not to our taste.

It was not my first experience and it is a restaurant I always recommend to friends that go to Madrid.
This time it was not exactly at the same level, maybe it was because the owner was not there.
But it was "good" anyway, just not "really good".

Second time here and am as impressed as I was the first time. Delicious, inventive food with local seasonal ingredients and very personalized and attentive service. I often eat out alone when traveling for work and find most restaurants pay less attention to the solo diner. Tasquita seems to do the opposite, paying a bit more attention to make sure you are comfortable but never overbearing. Really nice experience.
