At first glance we were surprised by the presentation of this small unassuming restaurant however the sincere welcome and overall aim to please certainly made us believe the food would be special and it didn't disappoint. We chose four dishes, nachos (my husband can't resist these wherever we go), fish and prawn dish, mini fish and chips, and cloches Madriz. All were substantial portions and delicious. The staff were amazing and really relished the feedback which was good to see. We topped this lot off with baked cheesecake with a fig jam and ice cream. To say we were stuffed is an understatement but just couldn't resist. Extra brownie points for having a disabled toilet too :)

We live in Spain and i must say i don’t understand the good reviews by many guests. The food was basic and sometimes even bland (the chipirones and the clotxa). The bravas were not good and the sauce was cheap. The owner left the receipt and the cash machine on our table and left, as our taxi was arriving at that moment i waited for a few minutes for the owner to return. He didn’t show up so i typed in the amount myself and while leaving showed him that it was the correct amount. Again, all basic and some food was not good. Wouldn’t recommend going there.

Lovely meal.The menu was in Spanish which we loved and not a picture of food anywhere.Traditional Catalonia food that was delicious.The waiter explained the menu in English and we followed his recommendations!you must try the salad!Excellent food at a reasonable price .We hope to be back soon!

Ibamos con muchas expectativas y nos defraudo! Ibamos con reserva y nos tuvimos que esperar 40 minutos cuando habian mesas libres y solo habian 5 mesas ocupadas!! El señor propietario mas que sugerir platos, queria pedir por nosotros. Nos sentimos incomodos y cuestionados por no pedir lo que el hombre nos "sugeria". Iba corriendo a todos lados y transmitia caos. Una señora le comento que se tranquilizara y solo tenia 5 mesas ocupadas. Nos alegó que la espera era porque todos habiamos venido a la misma hora. Ademas, la comida es correcta, nada fuera de lo normal. La nota positiva es que hay otro camarero que es muy amable, gracias a el nos pudimos llegar a sentar en la mesa y si que sugiere de forma mas adecuada, sin cuestionar lo que pides. Obviamente no vamos a volver

MARAVILLOSO RESTAURANTE CON UNA COMIDA MAGNIFICA. NOSOTROS SIEMPRE QUE VAMOS A SALOU VISITAMOS LA TECA. GARANTIZADA UNA ENSALADA BUENISIMA QUE CADA VIAJE ES DIFERENTE, UNAS OLLAS QUE PREPARAN (OLLITAS ) CON RECETAS SUPER DELICIOSAS. EL DUEÑO ES UNA PERSONA ESTUPENDA SIEMPRE CON UNA SONRISA Y EXPLICANDOTE CADA PLATO Y CADA NOVEDAD. GRAN CALIDAD DE PRODUCTO EN SALOU. CITA INDISPENSABLE.

What a hidden gem…the food is amazing there was not one dish that we chose that wasn’t great…my favourites were the salad, patas bravas and the fish platter, oh and save room for the cheesecake, it’s out of this world…the owner is so knowledgable he talks you through the menu, took pictures for us and even charged my phone! Overall the best meal in salou by far with a wonderful host…if you are in salou try it you won’t be disappointed

Empezaré la reseña recomendando sin duda este restaurante. Sitio agradable atendido por una persona (que me perdone porque no sé su nombre) aún más agradable. Llegamos un poco pronto (mea culpa) y nos avisó inmediatamente de que quizá se demoraría un poco, Sin embargo, doy fe de que se esmeró todo lo posible y nos tomó las comandas de una forma rápida y eficiente. La comida llegó de la misma forma. Cenamos ayer cuatro personas (2 adultos y 2 adolescentes) y lo hicimos francamente bien. Fingers de pollo y bravas de entrantes, una cazuelita (olla mini, tipo Le Creuset) de albóndigas y dos clochas (Tec Mex y catalana), con un botella de agua Solano de cabras, una Coke Zero y una Alhambra verde = +/-47 euros. No probé todo pero el sentir general era que estaba todo muy rico, en una terraza maja, con muy poco tránsito de vehículos y una buena relación calidad/precio. No somos de Salou pero animo a locales y visitantes a dejarse caer por este establecimiento porque, a buen seguro, saldrán muy satisfechos. Al menos nosotros lo hicimos.
