Great food, worth a visit.
Phantastic Taberna. Friendly - authentic - verry delicious and typical. Next stay - next dinner !!
Excelente atendimento e ótimo ambiente
Todo muy bien.
Slightly expensive !
Food OK, but the service was far too quick, everything was done to get the table empty as soon as possible. The main course was brought immediately after the first course, the dessert menu was brought to a first guest when the second guest hadn’t finished yet the main course. According to other reviews the restaurant is frequented also by “locals”, and this is not disputed. However, the personnel try to get rid of the tourists as quickly as possible to make space for the locals.
Great food at reasonable prices. Tuna tartare was especially great
Amazing food, very friendly waitresses
We really enjoyed our dinner experience. The food was very good and the service very attentive. Plus the owner stopped by our table to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which it was. Highly recommend a visit.
Great place, friendly staff and lovely food and wine
An enjoyable meal. The restaurant is nicely done out & the staff were friendly & efficient.
Nos ha encantado todo!!! Repetiremos seguro... 100% recomendable.
My second visit. Never disappoints. Highly recommended. Quite large portions so arrive hungry!
Great restaurant! Great food even having a small meunucard, but everything done excellently. Unfortunately only big beers, no cañas, but the owner did one especially for us ;-).
We were a group of 8 on business, we wanted informal but good food. The service was great, the various dishes were timed through the evening and they even provided candles for a birthday dessert :) When back in Madrid i will return. Glenn
Awesome atmosphere exceeded expectations. Friendly service a bit on slow side but adequate.
Fantastic place! Finest food. Wonderful service. Enjoyable atmosphere! A “must eat” place for even “feinschmeckers”.
We didn't like that we were given the English menu, when afterwards we found out that the Spanish version shows more options (media ración was not mentioned on the english version). This lead to us ordering the more expensive full ración and smells a bit like a tourist scam. My partner's dish quality was mediocre (we live in Spain so we know more or less what to expect). Mine was fine.
Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the "Cayos". All the dishes are very authentic Spanish food.
Amables y correctos en todoomento
The food was very good, especially the chicken wings and the duck entree. Don't miss the house specialty dessert! Fabulous service!
Bad service. No Spanish cuisine.
Good food, wine and sevice for a very tourist area of Madrid
Nice staff and good food
Very good food, really nice atmosphere, friendly waiters
This place is a very good discovery
Very good tasty food
Starters and desert were excellent. This restaurant is great for tapas but the mains were disappointing. Best desert we’ve had in ages so we got a second! Lovely pastry with cream and toffee!
We had a fantastic evening - great food - friendly caring staff - clear recommendation
Been to this restaurant several times on past visits and gave it a good score. This time the food was a bit disappointing (not enough to rate badly, but not good enough to get a good rating.) I had the duck breast, which was flavorful and a large serving. BUT, each the breast had evidently been cooked ahead of time and each slice had been pan fried to warm it and perhaps cook it a bit beyond rare, as i had asked for "pink". As a consequence, each piece was seared and well-done. Unfortunate, as it should have been fantastic
Nice looking food, but really bad actually. The meat was incredibly chewy. Limited selection of red wines (5), out of which only one good. Service was nice and friendly.
This restaurant was excellent. I had let them know I was vegetarian before I went and they went out of their way to explain which dishes could be made. vegetarian. The service was efficient and the food delicious.
Nice ambiance at this restaurant! It was cozy and a bit romantic so it was perfect for our late lunch after landing. Food was also excellent: we had buratta salad to share, roasted duck and pork steak with foie gras. We finished with the pastry which was recommended on their menu as "amazing", and we were not disappointed. Service is also very good: kind and fast. Excellent overall.
Fantastic, really enjoyed the dishes. We had the squid, wok fried chicken and vegetables and lovely watercress salad with blue cheese, walnuts, and pasta. Also great wine recommendation.
Excellent food and sevice. Would recommend.
There is no way that this one of the top 50 restaurants (at least according to Trip Advisor) in Madrid. The food and wine were mediocre at best and certainly overpriced. The burrata in the salad was watery and tasteless (and still frozen in the middle) along with the refrigerated tomatoes. The menu also had some translation issues. The arugula salad with Parmesan and apple was served with cherry tomatoes, dried fruit and walnuts. and the Argentinian veal turned out to be a rather tough and bland hangar steak. To the restaurants credit, they did remove the burrata salad from the bill with no issues. The service was uneven but the servers were nice and helpful.
Solid food in a trendy restaurant. Small menu
