Fantastic tasting menu, exceptional service. Amazing food in fabulous location overlooking the skyline of Rome.
Great service , delicious food
It was disappointing to find a long hair inside the second dish of a very expensive menu ( My Classics). This is not expected in a restaurant which should offer high standards of food and service. Very disappointing !
Superlative Christmas lunch. The staff were impeccable, all friendly and professional. The food was world class. Not a missed beat and perfectly paced. The view was superb but the food and service deserve the ultimate accolade.
Great service, food and location.
Superlocation, una serata indimenticabile
Excellent restaurant, exceptionally courteous service. You can't be in Rome and not visit La Terrazza. You did not visit La Terrazza as if you did not visit Rome.
We had a great adventure! Many Thanks to all the staff!
Our welcome was warm and gracious, our main server was helpful, knowledgeable, and soft-spoken, not "here I am" and the food excellent - we enjoyed the tasty amuse bouches, the warm bread with oil and salt and the 3-course dinner with wine pairings. I had the mushrooms (outstanding presentation and taste), ravioli and salmon and my husband had the octopus/celery starter, spaghetti, and salmon. He also had a selection of Italian cheeses, and our desserts were the lemon cake/sorbet and the ricotta and apricot dish - both sublime. The view is gorgeous and the staff accommodating. We had a wonderful evening.
We have been dining at this restaurant since 1995 and, prior to its closure for a 2 year makeover, it was always beyond wonderful. The ambiance, service, and food could not have been better. This is the first time we have been back since the reopening and wow were we astonished. It is almost as if someone decided purposely to eliminate everything that made this place what it was. The dining room is dark; the "china" is non-existent. The dish to hold the bread, for example, could be duplicated at IKEA. And what is the deal about crazy mixed up food. What in the world does smoking rose water have to do with Pasta with cheese & pepper. Or salmon served on a smoking tier of what looked like pine cones. All in all, it was the worst meal we have had in a long time. And just because there may seem a need for updating, that's no reason to throw out the baby with the bath water. What a shame that it has succumbed to "Harmony Cuisine". We feel like we have lost a good friend who we will never see again.
Perfect! The staff, the food, the wine, the atmosphere, the view! Everything was excellent, made the best memories ♡ The food for us was very different but none the less soo so good. So fun to experience food in this way. We will recommend this place to all our loved once
Very nice and cozy restaurant with a stunning view over the skylines of Rome. The service is very good (as expected for a Guide Michelin). The 7 course menu ("Harmony") though was not in the grade of a Guide Michelin Restaurant. Some of the dishes was superb (Tomato, Ravioli, Risotto), and some was kind of plain (Salmon, Braised Beef and Scallops) and not what I expect for this level of cooking. Quite lazy to pair the same wine twice with some dishes (I think a total of 3 wines to 6 courses, and dessert wine to dessert). The service was very, very good, but with some misstakes. No refill of whine between courses (my partner got refill, but then the bottle was empty and I got no refill). And after a visit to the restroom, I didn't get any new napkin after they took the old one.
The staff was very helpful and friendly the ambiance was great we were set for a great dinner the presentation of the food was great a lot of thought went into the presentation but the taste of our meal was disappointing for being a Michelin star restaurant I’ve dine at many Michelin star restaurant and the priority is having great tasting food but this time it left a bad taste in my mouth I don’t leave any bad reviews on restaurant this caliber but I thought it over and this is the result. Good luck
The view! The atmosphere! The presentation! The service! And lastly, the food! A special dinner for my wife and I during our stay at Hotel Eden did not disappoint.
The food is a shadow of what it was before Dorchester took over. All of the amuse Bouche and small bites are irrelevant if the main courses suffer. Some courses were good, others very forgettable. For me no single course was outstanding. We considered staying at the hotel in the hope that the restaurant food was as good as it once was, but are glad that we booked elsewhere.
One of the best restaurants I’ve been to. we were seated near the window that overlooked the kitchen. Very nice. We did a tasting menu but bought our own wine from the very large wine list. The food was soooo good as was the service.
The food looked and tasted out of this world, the octopus and celery was probably the best dish I’ve ever had. The view from the window was unbelievable and the service was great.
The perfect place for a celebration, whether it be birthday, anniversary or life itself. From the wonderful warm and sincere welcome at reception through to the professional, friendly and very attentive service of all the waiting staff it was a fabulous experience. The food certainly did not disappoint. Wonderful theatre with a pre amuse bouche of barbecued pork squares over a flaming rock, and the obligatory theatrical liquid nitrogen cloud to prepare our tastebuds. We chose the Classic tasting menu which consisted of five courses accompanied by a fabulous wine flight. Each dish had the most amazing exquisite taste and were perfection personified. The only ‘negative’ although I hate to use that term in relation to this incredible restaurant, was that the only vegetables were three exquisite morsels of different coloured carrots, and I’m a girl who likes her greens! A magnificent experience to be treasured.
