een van mijn all time favorites~!!!
Lekker gegeten met het beproefde concept.
We had a wonderful evening!
Top plek. We komen hier al jaaaaaren.
Professionele bediening, heel prettig!
One of the best places in the neighborhood
Our waitress was very nice however the manager was very rude definitely very disappointing.
Lekker gegeten. Wel dit keer simple gerechten maar wel lekker. (Voorgerecht en tussengerecht 2 x een soort salade achter elkaar(oufe mayonaise en antishok salade) maar in algemeen lekker!!
Beautiful vegetarian meal last night. Really enjoyed all the courses including the generous-sized cheese plate. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere is so cosy. I'd return again happily.
What I like the most about La Vallade is its cozy atmosphere. Nicely decorated, it is an ideal place to take your partner for dinner. The service was also very attentive and price wise, it is not expensive for a 5-meal course. Highly recommended.
Super leuk. I expected a nice simple experience for 35 euro and 5 courses, but it really outdid my expectations. From the moment we arrived until 3 hours later, the sun shone! Literally! It helps that the model is 'wat het pot schaaft' which means the ingredients and amounts can be more controlled since everyone is served the same 5 courses during the mealtime. Started with a lovely Burrata floating in a maybe pumpkin paste sauce? Not sure since the taste was very soft but the Burrata was lovely. Next a very simple but excellent salad with perfect bitter lettuces and nice organic local beets I think. They were very fresh and very tasty. The Schol/Plaice fish with Asparagus and Carrot Mashed Potatoes was really really good. A little buttery but that aided the mash just fine. I couldn't even finish it. Did I mention that the portion sizes are really good? My boys licked their plates; figuratively spoken of course. The cheese plate was almost too much. I'm never in the mood for a Brie, but it looked perfect. Soupy with a good crust. The Aged Sheeps cheese was good but the Roquefort was divine as usual. Served with walnuts in the shell and simple saltines. A good choice. My sons loved the Segafredo with fresh (again must be local, they were so small and so RED!) strawberries and a little chocolate sauce. We tried the house Red and a really lovely French white that was super citrusy and just good. Everything for 130 euro including tip. They made it a birthday to remember and we will definitely be back. It may become a monthly treat! Best experience I've had in Amsterdam in years...
Delightful, highly recommended. Excellent food, professional staff, great house wine and nice ambience. It is all reasonably priced and I will definitely be going there again. Food was traditional French with modern hints, without going over the top.
La Vallade was a breath of fresh air when it came to customer service in Amsterdam. The staff were cheerful, helpful and experienced when it came to both the dishes and the wine. The food was very hearty and we both left very satisfied. The venue itself was very snug and homely and I would definitely recommend.. We will be back for sure.
INabe not been to LaValade for years and was just there last Friday for dinner with a dear friend. We were looked after so well, the service and the food was outstanding. I will definitely be back . The 5 course dinner was or excellent quality and the the cost of the menu was even better. Highly recommend!!!
Good day menu, food well prepared but rather average. Service extremely slow. Very pleasant decor if you like retro style
We were at La Vallade on a Monday evening. On Monday they serve vegetarian food through all 5 courses. The main course, goat cheese soufflé with pesto and ratatouille, was fantastic. Nice ambiance and friendly, competent service too. I had a great evening and I know I will come back here.
we had a wonderfull diner, great dishes and tasty ! the place remind you a typical french "routier " restaurant. The service was a bit slow but the experience was great ! we definitly come back !
We came to eat in La Vallade last week, we had salmon and tuna as starter, duck as main course with a fenkel jus ( really nice) cheese plateau and strawberry rhubarber desert. The dishes were tasty and well presented. Maybe one critic, I find a little bit shame for a french bistrot to have only one french cheese on the plateau. And the waiter didn't really knew the cheese on it. He confuse Roquefort with Fourme d'Ambert and Petit Doruvael as belgium cheese. Despite this, they were very good. But the evening was nice, we definitely come back.
