4.5/10We were “forced” to eat here as it would have been 80 euros for a taxi. The service was excellent. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful but the rooms were nothing to speak of. The food was just terrible. The menus was small and had nothing that jumped out at me. I kept flipping the pages of the menu thinking that I had missed something. I had to send back a dinner that was recommended by the staff - something I never do. I’ve had better breakfasts at the Hilton Garden Inn. Sorry but my dining experiences were awful.

10/10Absolutely gorgeous inn and restaurant. The owner is lovely and they all treat the guests as if they want you to return again and again! They go above and beyond to make sure your experience is perfect! The food is wonderful and waitstaff are impeccable. Loved every moment of our stay!

8/104/9/22 Update: Revising my review after looking at my bill upon return home. I discovered that the server charged my card in $USD (dynamic conversion on the spot), which is used by vendors to charge more to the customer. By EU law the restaurant must offer the option to decline this to the customer, which they did not, and I didn't realize it at the time. All other restaurant bills in Italy on this trip were paid in Euros and converted by my bank, which garners a much more favorable rate. This is an unfortunate event given the quality of the food and other service we experienced. To make things worse I tipped our server well (who ran the credit card at our table) in cash :-(. Caveat emptor when paying as a non-Italian or Euro zone tourist. Old Review: Outstanding food in a beautiful location. Service was impeccable and attentive without being overbearing. Numerous Italians dining, which speaks volumes about it not just being a tourist place. Would eat there again in a heartbeat.
