Somptueuse décoration et vue sur le parc de Versailles, cuisine contemporaine aux saveurs d’ailleurs pour dépayser les gourmets et impressionner vos invités.

    CRÉATIVITÉ - Un Chef étoilé, des produits de qualité, il n’en faut pas plus pour se régaler ! Pressé de foie gras, chutney de poires et pommes, poire pochée, paleron de Black Angus en juste cuisson, artichaut farci à la parmentière de champignons et épinards, daurade poêlée façon Grenobloise, pommes de terre rôties. En dessert, pourquoi ne pas tenter la tarte sablée au chocolat au lait, caramel et glace vanille Bourbon ?

    The setting is nice as it overlooks the park which is part of the Trianon Estate at Versailles, although you cannot see the Chateaux. Service was attentive. Food was ok. I am a vegetarian and the restaurant was described as vegetarian friendly. There were 3 veggie starters. The ancient tomatoes were light and had a nice flavour. The veggie main was described as spring vegetables of the moment. No description was provided to give you any idea what to expect. I would describe the dish as a small winter casserole of root vegetables, which was ok but nothing special. It would have been nice to have a more accurate description of the dish, and a choice would have been nice. My husband had seabass which was average. The wine is overpriced. We had a €60 bottle of red as recommended by the maître d. I have had better from a supermarket for less than 10€.

    The menu was average, I expected more creativity. The food was good but not outstanding. The service was nice, maybe a little slow. The worst part was the cockroaches- they were crawling in the table, the ground and my husband. Once that happened we had to leave. I know we’re in nature but it really ruined eating for me.

    For fine dining, the experience should feel special. This did not feel special. The staff were polite but needed prompted on a number of occasions. The food was ok, but was not special. I would not recommend.

    Sunday lunch fixed price menu at EUR 75 + coffee + drinks. Ok meal in a nice setting on the veranda but over priced for what is fairly simple cooking. Enjoy for the setting and proximity to the parc but better cooking to be found elsewhere for a lower price. Service attentive.

    The burrata was too cold, the angus was good but overpriced and the dish sides very “basic” the presentation in general could have been better, the dessert was very good.

    Beautiful views. The furniture could use a refresh. We had the hot and the cold foie gras appetizers, which were excellent. The angus steaks were mediocre. Excellent dessert buffet. The service was slow as soon as the restaurant started to fill. It consisted mostly of young people, who seemed somewhat aloof and not as daringly friendly as one would expect in a restaurant of this class.
