There was no wine list available so the restaurant manager "selected" the wine. 58€ for one bottle of red wine was well over our budget. We won't be returning.

This is one of our favorites in all of Paris. On a nondescript block in Montparnasse, an unassuming little place that looks more like a coffee shop from the outside, contains within fabulous food and excellent wines. Husband/wife team owns it--wife is chef, husband is sommelier, host, and waiter, with one other person serving and clearing. Husband always recommends the perfect wine to accompany each course. And oh, strawberry pie in June with crust to die for. I ate alone, husband couldn't join this trip, and I felt much more at ease than at other places. I look forward to my next meal here.

Food was absolutely great. The wine recommended by the owner was really good and very reasonable. The owner was really nice and we enjoyed conversing with him and receiving an education on the wine he selected. We enjoyed it so much that we plan to make another reservation before we leave.

Best dining experience ever!! I came after a friend suggested it to me. We were very lucky that our last night in Paris was when this place reopened after a 5-day holiday break. If we could, we would have come here every night. The vibe, food, service were all perfect! Love the host--he is very friendly and his English is also great :)

There are only three people working at the restaurant-the owner who is also the server, the chef and busboy. So service can be a little slow if you come after 8:30p. I had the foie gras and veal--both were delicious. This is my new favorite restaurant.

We really liked this place; we'd eaten at several high-end(ish) places in Paris, but this was my favorite.

Totally overated.
The proximity with the Marriot Hotel lowers the food quality and increases the price unreasonably.
It's a restourant for tourists with no real french atmosphere.

Small restaurant. menu can change from one visit to the next so the items offered are fresh. Owner waited on everyone who came in. Pride in his restaurant shows. Owner picked the wine for each item my wife and I ordered and every one was very good. Would go back but it's hard to get there from Wisconsin.

Disappointing. Lady who was cooking was giving out v negative vibes through gestures and facial expressions to her husband. That I guess being due to having a large group of American dinners. Food list was shortened. Husband excellent host, very pleasant and knowledgeable about wine. My asparagus was v bland. One of mybouches a la reine was burnt. Regret having gone during my short stay.
