We loved eating in this restaurant. It is very cozy and from the first moment you feel welcome. Service was great and the food delicious. We loved the foie-gras , the main courses and we adored the deserts. Highly recommended!

The restaurant was very nice, the service excellent and the food very authentic and delicious! Would reccomend it for anyone, but with a reservation, since the place is quite small. But worth it!

La vieille tour was a great choice. It is a authentic, family owned and run little restaurant, with the typical flair of the Alsace, in the middle of the old town of Strasbourg. Food and service were excellent. We´ll come come back.

This little restaurant was a great find. Super small so felt fortunate to get a seat. Did the prefix menu. Really incredible and reasonably priced. Presentation was beautiful and taste to equal. A must. Will definitely go again!

La Vieille Tour is unpretentious, and a very cozy/intimate venue for a group of friends to gather. The duck on the fixed menu was delicious, and we had a friend who was a vegetarian, and they made an excellent plate just for her. And the wine selection was great!

The food was ok . It was tasty but nothing extraordinary. The portions are medium to big size . For families travelling with small children it’s not recommended because the place is small and very crowded with tables. It would be nice if it had some music.

We picked this restaurant because it was recommended by the Michelin guide, so we assumed it would be good, but it was even better than we expected. Our experience was a bit unusual, though. We had made reservations for 7:30, but the restaurant called beforehand to ask if we could come at 7:00. The reason was that we were going to be the only customers that evening. The couple who own the restaurant had just returned from vacation, and apparently this was their first night open after being closed for their holiday. We arrived early and were greeted warmly. The place is small and cozy, and the husband and wife team that own the place were very helpful. We ordered foie gras and pâté de campagne as starters, and when the dishes arrived, we were stunned by the extremely generous portions. It was almost more than I could eat. For the main course, we had a cut of Iberian pork I'd never heard of. It was delicious, tender, and perfectly prepared. It was accompanied by some wonderful roasted vegetables. For dessert, we had a fabulously creamy chocolate pot de crème with a scoop of the lightest vanilla ice cream I've ever had. The price for the two of us was about 150€. We live in San Francisco, so for us the price was very reasonable, particularly given the quality of the food and the ample portions. This is a place we'd definitely recommend. Sorry I can't say anything about the wine list, but neither of us drink alcohol.
