Food was amazing. One of the best I have ever had. Serving is a bit slow due to two people operation. So allow yourself time to enjoy it thoroughly.

Simple and exquisite food. I had the crab stuffed peppers and the trout with potatoes and garlic. Beautiful, local Alsatian ingredients. Attentive service. The chef checks in every course. Your wine glass is always full. The menus are in cursive French on chalkboards. There are no fusses. Perhaps five or six tables. Homemade vanilla ice cream was to die for.

Very nice atmosphere - perfect and tasty food. It’s a family restaurant - husband and wife. Very friendly and good service. A bit on the higher side on the price - but worth it.

We went there with my husband after a conference in order to enjoy the last day in Strasbourg. It is an absolutely wonderful little, but cosy place suited to an exceptional dinner for a couple or a little group. Each of us took a starter (cold zuccini soup with mussels, a roll of chicken, foie gras), a main course (veal with livers, calamar with shrimps) and we shared a desert (home made vanilla ice cream with cherries in alcohol) from the list, however, a very attractive daily menu was also offered. The choice of wines was really good. I saw in some reviews that the price is too large (about 150 EUR incl. wine, coffee, soft drinks etc.), however for such an exceptional experience it is more then adequate and the amount of food is about double in comparison to similar restaurants we tried in France, Switzerland or so... I strongly recommend the place to anyone looking for highly original and tasty cousine (hard to explain, definitely french comprising a right balance between Alsatian and Mediterranean).
