The food here was excellent. The restaurant was full so we ate outside so the ambiance was just ok. The service was mixed…we waited for our wine and can only conclude that he was waiting for my 22 year old son to return from an errand…despite the fact that I (mom) selected and ordered the wine, my son was offered the taste. This rather sexist move threw myself and my daughter off. Aside from that, however, the service was just fine. And again, the food was excellent. We had two pasta dishes and a pizza and it was all fresh and flavourful. One of our best meals in Lisbon.

We arrived about 8 minutes late and the first thing the maitre d said was "you're late". Spoilt it for us really. Great food and service from everyone else otherwise.

Constância: é a maior qualidade do La Vita è Bella. Sempre que lá vamos o atendimento é excelente; a comida, excepcional; os preços, justos e o ambiente, agradabilíssimo. Há três anos vamos ali almoçar ou jantar, e é sempre uma ótima experiência. A destacar, ainda, a gentileza, o profissionalismo e a simpatia da angolana Eliandra, que garante que tudo saia à perfeição.

Highly recommend this place. The food tastes like authentic Italian. Must try the veal ragu; it’s delicious. Service was fantastic with personable and engaging staff.

I was very excited to try La Vita e Bella and I can honestly say the food was VERY worth the hype. 10/10 I had the seafood risotto and my friend had the Parmesan pasta linguine. My only complaint was that the service was a bit off. Our server seemed to be quite shy or even afraid to speak to us. After taking our order she didn’t approach our table ever again and even when our plates were empty, and she was clearly in sight, we had to ask her to come over to help us. Very odd, seemed like she didn’t want to be near us, we ended up having to ask a different server for our check because ours refused to come back to our table. The tiramisu was delicious.

La Vita e Bella was the restaurant we ate at on our last night of our last trip to Lisbon. It was so excellent that we were very excited to go back on the first night of this trip. But It couldn’t have been more different. The food was extremely disappointing but the service was far worse. Gorgeous to look at, but that’s the only thing that got high marks. What a shame.

Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner. All of the food was excellent and the service was very good. Nice ambiance inside, although it can get very loud. The one negative was that there was an extremely strong cologne smell that permeated the restaurant (we think it was one of the waiters and not a patron). It was noxious and almost ruined our meal. We will definitely return because the food was so good, but will sit outside next time.

Food is great. Why charge 2.5 euros on bottle of water? Too many tables makes the dining very dense. Does not fit to corona times and even without the corona there were too many tables in the interior space

Já visitei este restaurante algumas vezes e é simplesmente fantástico!! Levei lá hoje amigas minhas para comer aquela massa de queijo, ficaram fãs! As entradas também eram muito boas e o gerente foi muito atencioso, bem como os funcionários, até ofereceram dose extra da massa, amei!! Vou voltar com mais amigas.

Comida de qualidade aceitável. Serviço muito mau, demorámos 30 minutos para nos ser entregue o menu, esqueceram-se dos nossos pedidos. E desde sermos atendidos com os produtos de limpeza na mão do empregado até as mesas estarem demasiados muito juntas, tudo foi mau no ambiente do restaurante.

The food was nicely prepared, and the waitstaff was very good and friendly. They appeared to be a bit overworked, however — the restaurant needed one more waiter for a Saturday evening crowd. A good find, with some outdoor seating available.

Tasty food, kind staff, but they made a lot of mistakes. Our reservation wasn't in, the table we got wasn't stable, asked for a napkin to be put under one of the legs, they agreed, but forgot. Menu wasn't brought for 20 minutes, until we asked for one. Orders were brought out wrong and after we paid, someone came to ask for payment yet again, not realizing had already been paid. Could have been bad luck, too little staff, not well enough trained or combination of those.

Service was dreadful. Waited 20 mins for our reservation. Then waited 90 mins for our order and then only half of it arrived. We had to wait another 20 mins for the rest of the meals to arrive. They were very busy but still disappointing.
