About the restaurant Ladurée Paris Bonaparte

We had French toast for lunch. I was very soft and tasty as we expected. We booked in advance and said that we booked. The restaurant was not crowded at all. They did not check our reservation.

The food was expensive (but was a s expected), but really good. The service was super slow and they even got our order wrong. Overall, the food was great, but the service was awful.

While the omelette was excellent, Laduree’s days in the sun have long since passed. The decor, service and atmosphere can best be described as tired. Not the experience that it has been in the past.
Restaurant

Very dissapointed with the desserts La Duree. they came to the table very cold, as if just defrosted. We were told that they are kept in the refrigerator. NOT appropriate for at all for a fine patisserie. Even the macaroons which we ordered after the other desserts weren't correct were stale. This is not the same La Duree that I have known and respected for the quality in the past.

Our servers were absolutely wonderful! And so accommodating with our poor French. They made wonderful suggestions on dessert. Will be thrilled to come back!

the whole restaurant smelled like a bathroom ... unfortunately we made a reservation ahead of time so we stayed to eat but it was uncomfortable. they should close the restaurant down and fix the issue in the meantime.

Quite a disappointment. Stuff was errogant, deserts were dry, served from the downstairs take away shop with an extra charge of 30% for each.
Interior is very small, unpleasantly dated.

It might have been a bad day, but we had book a table at 11.30 for brunch but they didn't serve brunch that day. So we have a pastry and a coffee.
The St Honoré was nice yet too much Chantilly not enough custard. The Placer Sucre was very nice but a tiny slice for 10€, it was too expensive. The coffee was nice but nothing out of this world.
The decor is ok, it's a bit outdated feel (velvet on the walls) the whole room upstairs is extremely dark, all the decor is navy blue colour.
The service was extremely slow. The waiter was serving tables that were seated before other tables. They ran out of croissants and he was very stressed about it. He would take only one order at the time even though there were 2 other people around only 1 person was taking orders.
I will not go back again to Ladurée. I waited for 4 years to go to Paris and it was worth neither my time nor my money: 30€ for 2 pastries and 2 cups of black coffee.

This location is one of the older locations and feels a bit that way. The rug on the floor when you walk in was a bit frayed. The small tea room upstairs also shows signs of wear. The raspberries used as a flourish on the drink romantique were moldy. Other than that the deserts were delicious.

Interior was interesting and historically beautiful. Burger was excellent and other warm dishes as well as macarons, other deserts were disappointing. Pretty expensive too.

This is the original Laudree in Paris! The environment is small but charming with decorations dating back late-1800s / early 1900s. Ask for the Brunch specials on bank holidays or weekends, good 39EUR for two people. Though afternoon tea at the RITZ with sandwiches may be better value. It was a good experience for treating my mom on a Mother's Day.

Had a very enjoyable lunch in the oh so cute upstairs tea room. Food was better than expected and desserts were beautiful and tasty. Worth the visit and the time to sit and have a meal or just tea (or a champagne) and dessert.
