    Lard et Bouchon was recommended by friends who ate there during their recent visit to Saint-Emilion. It did not disappoint. Service was impeccable, ambience was wonderful, and the food was tasty. All in all, a great experience.

    Delicious dish with nice presentation. Quantity of the food is small so dont expect your stomach to feel very satisfied after a 3 course meal. I need to ask for the set menu eur 29 option else I was given an a-la-cart menu which is more expensive. I was told that the credit card machine was faulty so I can only pay by cash. So you might need to prepare some cash if you visit the resturant.

    Rarely we had bad meal in France- this comes on the top of bad. Cesar salad was terrible, the worst we ever had, duck breast was chewy and uneatable, foes gras was dry... When we returned the duck, and explained why, the server(owner?) asked if we ever had duck before. Yes sir, just never that bad. Avoid!

    Great food could do with some music to lighten the atmosphere. Owner and staff great, rib eye beef delicious and really substantial. We ordered for 2 would have been enough for 3!! Definitely recommend ????
