Simply excellent. The staff were fantastic and could pair wine to all the dishes. Spent the time to explain the dishes and when my best French (from school) let me down were all to happy to speak English and then teach me the correct french. The good oh my word AMAZING. If I’m in St Emillion again I know where I would go to eat.

This place exceeded our expectations. The ambience was phenomenal, the service was excellent and the food was over the top. Our waiter recommended a wine for our meals and was perfect. Would highly recommend!

Great restaurant, we had 2 entrees and 3 mains between 2 of us. All well prepared especially the snails, pork and bone marrow. Wines by the glass were also good. Great service and owner also threw in a free dish.

The restaurant was lovely . Server was a bit overwhelmed as he was the only one there but he worked hard and was good at his job. Food came on time and was good and well presented .

Be prepared to go with the flow. Friendly and helpful English speaking owner does all the floor work ,greeting,waiting advising,cashier ect Patience is rewarded with great dishes well presented and with great wine pairing recommendations. Not inexpensive But genuine and good quantity.

A small menu, executed beautifully, in a space once used as a cave à vin. The wine list is excellent, and Sylvain, the owner, is very knowledgeable about his wines. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately it wasn’t what we hoped for but the waiter on duty was lovely. It was just heavily understaffed (1 waiter for 20-25 guests) so it took some time to both order and receive food and drinks, and the food was not up to the standard (meat being well overcooked) of a Michelin guide restaurant. We are sorry to leave a bad review but hope it helps the owners with improving the overall offering as it’s in a great location and the theme is very cool in a wine cellar.
