10/10The food was very good, arrived very quickly, in a restaurant with perfect acoustics and of course striking architecture.

8.5/10Simple, unfussy food, carefully prepared and with good provenance. I particularly enjoyed the lamb (which was cooked the right side of pink), and the absolutely delicious cheeseboard (Lincolnshire poacher) at the tail end of the meal. I had a few tiny remnants of dishcloth in my wine and the waiter (not for any asking on my part) offered me a lovely, upmarket red as a token gesture - which was gratefully accepted. Great service, attentive but not overbearing.

10/10This is a high quality restaurant. Everything about the meal was perfect. The produce is so fresh and the inventiveness of the ingredients was a delight, especially as it seemed to be so simple. I loved it. Drinks are delicious too.

10/10There were four tables for Saturday lunch, all heading to the 2.15pm show. The two and three course menu were select. The starter of the Hereford carpaccio with celeriac salad was beautiful- light and tasty. The crab soup was excellent with a crispy toast. A nice thick brown liquid with a Super intense of crab flavour. The mains of the shared Chicken , leek and girollle pie was excellent. Nice crispy Flakey pastry crust with chicken stew and breast pieces. It does take about 20minutes to Prepare so they do warn you prior to ordering just in case there is a time pressure of a meal before a show. Nice choice stew with leek pieces with unfortunately with only 4 girolle. The meal was heavy that we didn’t order deserts. Wine was well priced. The service attentive and pleasant.
