Excellent restaurant in the centre of Strasbourg. Wonderful food, perfectly prepared from only the best ingredients. The 9 course tasting menu really demonstrates the skills of the chef and his team. The restaurant is in a charming townhouse near the river with very pleasant dining rooms on each floor. After a recent redecoration of the whole restaurant it is even more beautiful and inviting. Service is excellent, very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. This is my favorite restaurant in Strasbourg, and I highly recommend it.

This was our first time at 1741 and, to be fair, it was their first night re-opening after seven months of renovations. This might explain why they were off their game a bit. The seven-course discovery menu was alright, although it took almost four hours with long breaks in between each serving, some missteps in service, and with quantities that were appropriate but not more (let's say we were glad to have bread available). Overall, we've been accustomed to better with Michelin-starred places but, again, this might just be because it was their first day after a long break.

Excellent dining experience. We were led through the meal by our wonderful server Giacomo. He gave thorough explanations of the courses and wine and he was was friendly and attentive . The food was outstanding, especially the snapper, langoustine, artichoke and sweetbread courses. Overall, it was a spectacular meal and evening to remember.

The food was certainly Michelin worthy, creative without being pretentious, and the service we were provided lived up to its 1 star rating being personable and professional. The restroom was a little neglected with a surplus of used hand towels needing to be removed and washed better than the clean one’s that were provided. The wine pairing system and pricing could have been explained better as well. In the end it is worthy of its star and very reasonably priced.

I enjoyed an excellent dinner at 1841 in Strasbourg. They have 5, 7 and 9 course tasting menus, and I went for the 9 courses. Everything was very enjoyable. The food is of very high quality, using fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The staff is very friendly and professional. The restaurant is in a house near the river in central Strasbourg. The dining rooms are located on all four floors of the house and the interior is elegant and welcoming. It is a wonderful restaurant and I give it my best recommendation.

Delicious food. Very nice waiter. The room next to the entrance is not great. Very noisy with unsightly draught as the door is open most of the time. The rooms upstairs are probably much better for dinner.

This is one of the most wonderful restaurants we’ve ever eaten at. Our trip to Strasbourg would be worth it just for this meal. The service was superb and we loved watching the chefs at work. No detail is overlooked.

This was clearly a Michelin restaurant. The interior was amazing and it immediately felt like we were in an amazing place. We had the four course lunch, which included a set of small bites before the meal and an additional set of small bites after so the four course seemed like six. We asked for wine pairings for each course but believe we did not make ourselves clear as we did not speak French and pairings were not automatically setup for each course. When I finished my wine, I was never asked if I wanted more or if I wanted a pairing. This was a small concern as the experience was about the food which was exceptional. We would absolutely come here again.
