9.5/10Excellent little restaurant in the middle of Aix. The food is classic French (meat or fish and very good sauces), with a friendly atmosphere and good service. The best restaurant of my holiday so far. Highly recommend.

4/10I think the restaurant must have switched chefs or undergone some kind of change after COVID. The restaurant had fantastic reviews across multiple platforms, but with respect to our experience - this place was disappointing to say the least. Most of the negativity below stems from the sub-par food, the actual service was not terrible and the host was actually quite nice / attentive (especially considering we are not native French speakers). To begin with the initial fried shrimp appetizer (essential an egg roll) was okay, but for the price I would have expected something more. The part of the meal that was atrocious was the duck I had. The duck might have been the worst duck I've ever had, with it being actually painful to chew. My girlfriend had the salmon (a larger egg roll filled with salmon rater than shrimp) which was also sub-par, but at least she could finish most of it. In general another personal pet peeve was also that every course (appetizer and entrée) was served with half the plate full of salad. We skipped on desert given the poor performance of the appetizer and entrees. I would strongly suggest picking one of the other wonderful restaurants in Aix for your visit, this place has clearly fallen from what it once was. I think our total meal was ~70 euros when in reality it should have been closer to ~20-30 euros for the quality of what was served. Strongly advise against going here, the overall rating is a 4/10 but the ambiance and service probably boosted it from being a 2 or 3.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are sorry it did not live up to your expectations. There was no change in the team or in the establishment. I am surprised by your complaint because when I asked you "Is everything OK?" you answered "Yes" and returned empty plates to me. So you have eaten it all. So I don't understand. If you didn't like the dishes you should have pointed out the problem to me so that I can see it and correct it. We take note of your comment and hope to satisfy you on a future visit.

9.5/10This restaurant is a block or two off the beaten path, but well worth finding. The service was warm and friendly. The food was amazing. The entrees were fresh and very good. I had the tuna plat, and my wife had a filet of pork. My tuna was impeccably fresh, with a light tomato vinaigrette. Served rare, it was one of the best tuna dishes I have had, and I love tuna. It was served with a zucchini gratin and litte peas in the pods. They looked simple, but were absolutely delicious. My wife's pork was cooked perfectly, sliced with a delicious sauce. It was served with the peas and a very good potatos gratin. I highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10Hospitable staff, tasty food and great recommendations. We enjoyed a nice lunch outside. The beef and the salmon were both perfectly cooked and tasty. The fondant was also excellent (though a little scoop of vanilla ice-cream would be a plus). We will come back here if we return to Aix in the future.

9/10Very good food but limited as this is a small restaurant with the father as waiter and son as chef. Not quite professional yet. But very enjoyable. Worth visiting.

10/10We arrived at this small restaurant in Aix En Provence, our hotel Le Pigonnet had recommended the restaurant. We had outstanding Lapin and Saumon. The atmosphere is welcoming, we started with Kir, appetizer of Chèvre Chaud with miel was wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant, the wine selection from the Luberon was wonderful for our meals.
