Excellent
I selected this restaurant for a business dinner that was a meeting fo a team that was working together on a project. It was the PERFECT combination as it had traditional French bistro flair but had a welcoming atmosphere and staff for our out of town and less traveled colleagues. We were treated to a terrific wine list, excellent service, and above all terrific food. To top off, a colleague came in after my party was seated and complimented me on my selection - she had dined there multiple times.
I was recommended by a friend of this bistro. The restaurant looks very traditional outside but the food are modern and original. At least I haven’t seen these courses elsewhere, name just a few, the dorade tartare, the roasted duck and the sablé maison with a few kinds of fresh oranges. So delicious.
This place used to offer a menu of three courses for €45. The menu is still offered on the web site but it's not available at the restaurant. So, three courses now cost around €60. The food is better (my last few visits found erratic behavior in the kitchen). But the price is new.
The waiter cut his finger cutting bread so service was a little disrupted . Very friendly staff, just need better organization
Just delightful alround. I shall be visiting against... merci.
Extraordinary dishes, very fine and clean tastes. Good wine list to go with that. Just great!
This is a fantastic restaurant with superb food, expertly cooked but what makes it is the staff, amazing, attentive and great service ????
Average food and service. Wouldn't recommend the Poulet de Bresse special at all, came in 2 services ... first breast part OK ... nothing special and second service of leg and thigh was so tough it was hard to cut off meat to eat. Desserts we're average. Quietly informed server who said kitchen staff would talk to supplier. Comped the desserts. Thanks. Whole experience was not up standards expected of a restaurant associated with chef Rostang. We have been in France many dozens of times and have experience with French cuisine from simple country cafes to a n many Michelin 1* 2* and 3* restaurants. Time for Monsieur Rostang to assess this associated "a cote" operation.
Wait time foe main course was too long, especially since we did not order a first course. Excuse for delay was poor.
My friends from US was so happy at discreet B-day dinner. She comes once year for the quenelles and it was nice of you to reserve a potion for her; it’s her annual pleasure while she’s in Paris. This time her husband got to come for the first time. Thank you very much;)
Wonderful French cuisine and hospitality - doesn't get much better than this for authentic French dining experience ☺️
top!

Delicious food, cosy eclectic atmosphere and a sweet, friendly staff.
My wife and I have been eating in Paris for the last twenty years and Bistrot Flaubert gets our vote for the best. From the greeting to the ambiance to the food and drink, this is a truly wonderful experience.

A small, quiet and esthetic restaurant. Recommended for a quiet discussion for business or a romantic evening.
