Lovely traditional restaurant with excellent food and service.
Lovely place to eat. Ambience was classically Parisian staff were friendly and helpful. The food itself was good quality and well cooked and the Sancerre was excellent
Top ! Bravo
Classic French bistro on the higher end with classic dishes and a clientele of returning local customers...
Very french, waiters absolutely formidable, will be back!
Excellent food. Scallops with the freshest spinach in a light butter cream sauce. Skate in a browned butter with fresh vegetables. Service was delightful.
Always love this place, best service, best food
Bistrot de Paris is my favorite restaurant in Paris. Authentic. In the past, I have celebrated my birthday here. On this last trip to Paris, we dined at the Bistrot on our last night in Paris. We saved it for that night.
The perfect Paris experience – charm with excellence – presentation matching the great 'authentic' menu. Thank you.
Great place that always delivers with very good, hearty and straight-forward food, parisian atmosphere, and warm and friendly service. It's at once very French and very international and they always make you feel relaxed and welcome. We were a big party and the highlights was the joue de boeuf (ox cheek stew), the bar (sea bass) and the rognon entier (whole kidney). The wine that was recommended was excellent. Also the baba au rhum requires a mention.
This is our favorite restaurant in Paris. The service and food is always excellent. I hope they bring back the lamb, however, as that was my favorite dish. We recommend this restaurant to anyone we know visiting Paris.
Mood is good .old fashion. Food is very French style and two course meal is already full.
Old bistro and lots of ambiance but todays dishes not what you expect for the price. Go there if old-style atmosphere is wanted but not if food is important.
We always eat here at least once while in Paris. The food is delicious and the portions are quite large. Everything is prepared with care and is tasty. It’s a friendly homey environment with a touch of elegance. The waiters are friendly but not intrusive or obsequious. As if they see you once a week and appreciate your presence. It’s not haute cuisine it very good appealing food. Good desserts too if you have room. You won’t be disappointed.
Has been an amazing experience. Food was great and the service outstanding - nothing to add!
Excellent service and food. A great atmosphere
Always the food is very good and the choice too. Service is friendly but very professional. Amed exceptional but American in residence a close second. Will visit again and again Je suis Ecossais!
Winter Sebastian was particularly helpful and his service was outstanding. Overall restaurant was wonderful., in a lovely location near the Musée D’orsay
Great place with a more local, less touristy feel. Our meal was by far the best we’ve had in Paris.
We made reservations online and were seated immediately on arrival with a small amuse-bouche awaiting us along with complimentary glasses of white burgundy. Our waiter spoke quite good English and helped translate some of the terms on the menu we didn’t understand. He recommended we split an starter: an artichoke heart salad with Radicchio and Endive topped with a lightly poached egg and a drizzle of vinaigrette. We both loved it and it was just the right amount to whet our appetites for what followed: roasted free-range chicken & mashed potatoes for my wife and a blanquette do veau for me. Both were quite good, though not exceptional, lacking a bit in intensity in both sauces. We chose a 2012 Paulliac from the carefully selected one-page wine list, which fully lived up to expectations and our waiter also poured us half glasses of a very nice Burgundy that my wife actually preferred to the Bordeaux (!). Ambiance was wonderful: quiet room, open window on the street, classic Bistro lighting and decor.
