10/10This place made our day, the staff waitress were fantastic. The fresh oysters, razor clams And sole meunier was the best I’ve ever eaten. I would definitely recommend the restaurant.

9/10The food was really amazing. The oysters were great, as was the fish of the day. We loved sitting outside on the beautiful terrace and enjoying the view on the towers of La Rochelle. Service was a bit forgetful at times, though they were very friendly.

10/10Just fabulous food ……. They have an English menu….they are a brilliantly run restaurant which had them cueing for tables and a booking for a table is a must! A lot to chose from in La Rochelle, but very glad we chose here! Would highly recommend.

10/10Friendly staff, especially Fanny, great setting and lovely food... Husband had swordfish tartare and moules, both lovely, whilst I especially appreciated having the fish of the day (dourade) filleted for me and it was absolutely delicious. Puddings of brioche pain perdu with ice cream and panna cotta with strawberries were both great.

6.5/10Overall it was an "ok" experience but nothing more than that. We were served the NYE menu, the plates had several cracks (I didn't expect this in such a restaurant and on a special night...) the food itself had small portions and no seasoning at all. A bit disappointing.

10/10Food was amazing and fresh. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite and paid attention to everyone. You must try the brioche caramelisee! Greatest dessert we have ever had.

4/10The mussels were minuscule and didn’t taste fresh. The sardines were dry and not good. The salad was soaked with vinaigrette and the goats cheese had no flavor. The glass of white wine was watered down. Tourist trap to avoid.

10/10Great location on the port across the towers. Food quality is great for the money. Don't expect luxury but price are decent and quantities were fine. We a had seafood platter as well as a fish soup.

8/10The meal and service was excellent would gladly recommend to friends my one concern was that the tables were very close to each other ie not ideal for a romantic night out. But still We will return in the future.

7.5/10The quality of the fish and the rest of the food was good. We had an enjoyable meal. The young waiter was probably not very experienced, but he was fast and attentive. It is a pity that the staff do not speak English or other languages, this would make the experience less troublesome for tourists.

7.5/10Fresh fish prepared in a basic manner. Bass was unfortunately highly under seasoned, sole decently seasoned and enjoyable. Mussels were excellent.

8/10We turned up with one extra and a baby but they accommodated us well despite that.Short wait for the maitres attention but once she came service was good although 2 mains were forgotten for which she apologised profusely.The staff were friendly and efficient considering the place was full.The food was good rather than brilliant but good value.Would certainly recommend.

6/10I hate to leave negative reviews, and I accept that this was La Rochelle on a very hot and very busy Saturday night, but this was the most uncomfortable and unsatisfactory dining experience for years. Our pre-booked table was a tiny folding garden table with no room for your feet due to the bracing bar; the chairs were slatted wooden garden chairs with no cushioning; tables were crammed together and I was continuously knocked by people squeezing past. The initial welcome was fine, starters came quickly and were good, but we were then ignored for half an hour. When we eventually got a waiter’s attention it became apparent our main course order had been lost in the kitchen. The food came quickly once this mistake had been addressed, and we received complementary glasses of wine and digestifs. We paid the bill in full, there was no attempt to offer a reduction. From the Tripadvisor reviews we’d hoped for a memorable romantic meal. It was memorable but for the wrong reasons.
