Le Bistro du Quatre has become one of my favourite restaurants in Cannes. Only a 5-10 minute walk away from the busy - and during big events overcrowded and overpriced - Croiset/Rue Hoche area, this place is a hidden gem. I have visited it 4 times over the past 2 years of which 2 times this week. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, you can sit outside or inside, it is generally not overcrowded. The kitchen is French, the menu written on a black board they bring to the table when you sit on the terrace. A nice but not overcrowded choice of fish, meat and vegetarian. The food is prepared well. Nice wines. The bill reasonable when compared with a lot of other restaurants at the other side of that mad highway that splits Cannes in 2. We were given complementary digestive drink is at the end. A really nice place for a nice dinner out with friends or for an informal business dinner. I do recommend to venture out of the usual spots and restaurants when in Cannes and pay this bistro a visit.
