really cool looking place. Food was high quality. I liked how the duck confiti came with lots of vegetables like roasted potatoes, mushrooms, tomato, haricots. My partner almost ordered "Kidney" and the server spoke french/english and gave a warning to make sure/confirm - she ended up getting salmon instead and really liked it. Desert was great. Basically a really good home cooked meal and healthy.
Loooooove this resto so much! The decorations are very antique and the jazz music they put fits the environment well. Food is great as well as the service. Definitely will go for the second time!!!
Came for the absinthe and we also had a good value french set menu that included snails, onion soup, and duck confit. Would absolutely recommend!
Everything was amazing! One of the best French restaurants I have ever been. I would rate all dishes as a 10 out of 10. Will definitely go back whenever I visit Paris
The location is indeed very old and authentic, though there is an unpleasant smell coming from kitchen. The food is very average, serving to fast which is suspicious.
Very lovely restaurant and owner! The food was delicious, we've tried every dish on the daily menu and everything was great. 10/10 would come again :))
Lovely French cuisine with friendly atmosphere in historical location. Highly recommended
We decide to go to this restaurant for our fist dinner in Paris. We booked just an hour before through the Fork. When we arrived the lady was quite rude and impolite , she asked us to seat near the door (very small and uncomfortable table), we had to seat next to each other as there was no much room otherwise, then she asked us to change table and we did. Service was fast however very impolite and rude staff, for sure you do not really feel welcome there, food was ok, nothing special. very disappointing. Also if you book through the Fork (despite they know), check your bill, as we had to ask for 30% off cause was not applied to the total. For sure there are better places where to go for dinner
we were in Paris just for a weekend, the dinner was totally ok and the chef very funny and gentle. suggested!
Great old french ambiance with great old classic dishes. Although service seems a bit slow but it’s a good experience indeed. Try the boudin if you are adventurous for a main course but the Apple tarte are totally yum!
Restaurant authentique. Cuisine du terroir copieuse. Service rapide et convivial.
Great location, plenty of history and the atmosphere is very unique! Dishes are very good! High recommended!
Lovely quaint restaurant, good atmosphere. Good service and the food was superb. I had onion soup followed by the duck confit, very tasty. Nice reasonably priced wine and with the discount received by booking via Fork, was good value overall.
Lovely restaurant, very friendly and helpful, the food was lovely and would recommend the chocolate cake it was lovely. Cosy and would recommend that you book, it gets very busy
The food was premade and reheated. We made the best out of the evening but the food was very disappointing.
Un charme hors du temps, une restauration très correcte, un bon vin accessible (bacchus) : on y retournera !

"Located at the corner of boulevard Rochechouart, at the foot of Sacré Cœur, le Bon Bock is a place full of history, it is even said to be the oldest restaurant of Montmartre. You will find the Parisian bistro of the novels of the 19th century: the soft lights, the wooden furniture, the antique chandeliers.
In the kitchen, traditional French cuisine will be prepared for you. The dishes are simple and sumptuous, and you recall the flavors of a past era. We recommend especially granny's onion soup au gratin, a real treat!
a location to discover absolutely, be it for a drink, to share a brunch with friends or for an intimate dinner. The restaurant regularly offers entertainment such as theme nights or concerts."
