We arrived 30 mins early before booking time as we were tired after walking around in the city for the whole day. When we arrived, the chef and manager were still having their dinner. They were really accommodating and let us in to have rest and read menu.
Food is tasty and interesting. Portion is large and three course meal is only 28 euro each. Atmosphere is casual and very friendly and service is spot on. I would highly recommend this place for groups of friend????

One of the best meals we’ve ever had in a really cool, cozy atmosphere. These guys really care about what they’re doing. We had the quenelle in a mushroom sauce (out of this world) and the chefs special team, beef stew, which was also so yummy. We sat there discussing and trying to figure out the little nuances of flavor. We also got the tuna tataki which was so good mixed with the wasabi emulsion & pickled onions. Got a bottle of delicious Syrah made with grapes from Southern France & could’ve drank a second. :) The service was spot on, friendly, kind, and caring—thank you!!! Everyone in Lyon is so sweet. We came to Lyon for their cuisine, and we were not disappointed .

We arrived and were greeted by the host who took the time to go through the menu and explain it to us in detail. He created a small potion salad so we could try the Lyonaise salad as we had never had it before and felt we should while here. The food was excellent and different allowing us to try local dishes that we would never have eaten anywhere else. I would recommend eating here and trying something you would not normally eat.

Very pleased with our meals. Our group of eight enjoyed all of their meals -- our favorite was the Swedish influenced salmon dish with flavorful and unique wasabi sauce.

The location is a bit out of the area but well worth the visit. Norvan provided excellent service, described the menu in very clear english, and was very accommodating with our two young children.

Highly recommended.
