Cannes was. It’s difficult to find a table for 8 however we managed to find Le Boston. Being on the port was a great location. Wine and food was good. I had the filet steak which was amazing. Service was a struggle as they never cleared the table and had to chase for simple things like cutlery and plates. Not very attentive. The worst part of the experience was that we were sitting next to the open toilets which were extremely smelly. Had to ask to spray and I had to do it a few times. It must be an ongoing problem as there were loads of smelly items all around the toilets. The toilets were clean though. The second thing that ruined it was that we are sitting opposite 3 very large and glaringly bright open fridges. I think if we sat in a different part of the restaurant we would have been much happier.

We saw the publicity on the back of the bus a few times. It says that they have a bucher shop. So we thought the meat must be good. The service was quite good. Friendly waitress and little sausages with the drinks. The starter of the day was very colorful salad with slices of dry ham. Lovely.
However the medium rare order of prime rib were not well executed. Mine was fine but the one my husband had was well done. So the waitress agreed to send it back. Then the new one was also quite well done.
The waitress was very unhappy and offered us 2 glasses of wine which was a nice gesture. But it is a big disappointment for a restaurant with a bucher...
We chose an apple tarte as our dessert and it was served cold. Too bad after the good start!
