I really wanted to like this meal as the hotel is beautiful. The drinks in the bar were excellent but the overall sense was ‘unnecessarily stiff and formal’. Dress code wasn’t required but was nevertheless smart. The waiters and sommelier were excellent - so no fault there but the food was so so, and as someone who eats in fine places often I found that disappointing. The bill was double what would have been overpriced so basically that’s what puts me off. I don’t mind paying €800 for a good meal, and drinks, but this felt worse than 3 star Michelins I’ve paid less for: so go if you want that experience but if you want value, there are plenty of other places.

Super location at the Cap Ferrat in one of the best hotels in the world. The gourmet restaurant Le Cap matches the high standard of the hotel. In particular if you sit outside under the old trees you can enjoy the legendary view on the garden. If you can and want choose the excellent 6 course/wave menu, it shows all the art and taste of the chef‘s cuisine ! Moreover the service staff is really nice and the wine and champagne selection is great - a classical Dom Perignon is a great choice. A must-have gourmet restaurant at the Côte d‘Azur !

This restaurant was in an idyllic setting and beyond beautiful. The staff was very attentive in their service and very informative. The food was quite the experience and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic food with elegant service in a beautiful outdoor garden setting. Dishes are well executed without arrogance; never simplistic if maybe a bit too reliant on hard to follow explanations by the servers. Generous portions (almost too much and too big; i.e. five dishes for opening the meal thus defying the term of amuse bouche). Aspiring wine list with prices corrected for an ultra luxe venue; did not disappoint. Would have liked to see more vegetarian options and more sensible choices following the trend of avant-garde Michelin starred jewels but this is still the land of suffering for the sake of palate and tradition. Highly recommended.
