Nous recommandons cette table où le chef s'efforce de faire rimer gourmandise et originalité. Adressons une mention spéciale pour la sympathie et le professionnalisme du personnel de salle.

Excellent service in a very stylish environment the food is a real delight for both the eyes and the taste. A bit expensive but the quality of the place deserves a visit once you've seen the Pont du Gard.

The food was inventive, with some unforgettable moments like the Oeuf 65. The setting was enchanting. Unfortunately, the sommelier was very dissapointing. He steered me away from two choices I was interested in around the 60 eur range towards a 37 eur bottle. I followed his suggestion and was incredibly disappointed. I hoped that the wine might improve as it breathed but it only got worse. What was striking was that he also recommended that wine to the (non-French) table next to me. Questionning my own faculties of discernment i checked the hype on the Mas Neuf Cotes de Nimes Compostelle 2012 on the wine sites when I got home and found the wine universally trashed as one star. Perhaps this sommelier was thinking that these Americans wont know any better. Perhaps his taste buds have declined. Who knows. But in ten years of dining in France, this experience rates as the most disappointing.
