My scallops were below average, my confit the canard was a bit too dry with a nice taste. My husbands steak was 1 big peace of fat. My coffee with gourmandises was very disappointing too( she crème brûlée was nice but the 4 small cakes very completely dry. The staff was nice and place dauphine is very nice but we won’t come back to this restaurant.

I was looking forward to dine in this small cozy spot in Paris,. I love canard but the skin was uncooked/soft and the potatoes cold, so all in a disappointing mea.

This was recommended to us by a frequent visitor to Paris, from someone who knows their way around Paris. It was disappointing at all levels. We shared a table of six with two strangers, no intimacy. Cold draft comes in if your table is too close to the door. Food was terrible. Had an Acme rib eye steak...thin cut, gritty, no flavor. Wife had fish with a dark, brown gravy more suited to meat than fish. No appetizer, no dessert. One server for the entire restaurant. Place was nearly empty, which prompted me to want to eat elsewhere.

A perfectly situated restaurant, with a lot of French charm. One of the few French brasseries that understands gluten free, and clearly indicates those items which are gluten free on the menu. We had a marvelous dinner, and were well cared for by the staff. Marveileux!

Lovely setting across from a park. Good food and great ambience. They also accommodated an increase in our group from 6 to 9 with creativity and grace.

The location is wonderful- away from busy streets and in a quiet courtyard. Great food. We will definitely return though the servers did seem a bit rushed at times.

Excellent food, friendly and helpful staff, and located in the beautiful Place Dauphine where you can sit outside and watch both young and old play boule. It’s a little expensive but worth it.

We have passed by this place many times on various visits to Paris and finally dropped in for lunch. The service was inattentive and dismissive - we ascribed it to a rush hour and, well, it’s ok not to like tourists sometimes. But the food was horrendous / tuna tartar was cut the size of barbecue cubes, with insipid sauce and white rice - a tasteless pile-up of a dish. Thin tartlette of crab was stale - the avocado sat for a while. I hear dinner service is much better. Or stick to meats.

We made a reservation an hour before our arrival. 2 adults, 2 kids. We speak zero French. The waiter was outstanding. Very kind and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The food was all great. Would highly recommend eating here!

we always start and end our Paris trips with dinner in this charming restaurant. We especially enjoy sitting outside as it is situated in a picturesque pocket park on the Ile de La Cite. Le Caveau du Palais has it all; good food,wine atmosphere and service

Lovely spot on Place Dauphine. Our party of three had a perfect table by the window overlooking the Place.
