9.5/10Oh my god. What an amazing restaurant. The pigeon main course was probably the best dish I've ever had and I can honestly say the wines and food were amazing. Found it through the Michelin guide and cannot recommend highly enough

2/10The quality of the restaurant and the service was really poor. Some dishes were just not eatable. The service was lazy and not interested what so ever. The lady behind the bar even drank water from the plastic bottle in front of us. What a disappointment!

9/10Ambiance is amazing very different. Food was delicious. Service was good looked like they were all stressed out running around fast and impersonal. Well maybe not enough staff But overall very good experience and would highly recommend.

3/10Not worth any Michelin stars. Service was OK. The desserts and starters look like they were prepared in advance and not fresh. If this is the level of restaurants that Michelin keep giving stars to, then the system is not reliable. Better review this place ASAP !!!!!!

2/10Le Capon Fin did not honor our reservation, we had confirmed it but they somehow lost it, they blamed the “system”. Not their fault apparently. No apologies, no attempt to make it right. This is absolutely unacceptable and shows how they treat their customers. Poor quality throughout, Avoid at all cost. May 2023.

10/10We went to Le Chapon Fin for our wedding anniversary, the team had a few big table arrive at the same time and handled the large numbers brilliantly. They made us welcome and the food and wine parings were excellent.

10/10What I felt first when I entered the restaurant was interior atmosphere was amazing. Regarding food, not only taste but also presentation also was fantastic. They are not bromidic. I thought it deserves to get a star of Michelin.

10/10Great interior although the light could be a bit dimmer. The space itself is spectacular. The food was exceptional. The staff was very elegant and well trained. They spoke perfect English and we’re very hospitable. Amazing little extra dishes to cleanse the palette

8/10The food was excellent. However, the table wobbled and the staff wasn’t able to give us another table although at least 3 remained unoccupied over the evening. The location is quite nice and special. The atmosphere, though, was a kind of stiff. Waiters were largely attentive and helpful. Opening a bottle of red wine after the dish has been served is not so helpful. Our experience was good, but it could have been excellent if the service were at the same quality as the food.

10/10Excellent from start to finish. Beauty, quality and creativity throughout my evening. Special applause to the chef sommelier who managed to marry foie gras with a red wine (my unreasonable request) just perfectly! My only question is why this restaurant does not yet have their Michelin star...they surely merit it.

9/10We expected good food and service and that is exactly what we got. In spite of the, slightly, subdued atmosphere as result of Covid 19 the staff were very attentive and friendly. If I have one criticism it is that we’re were informed to wear our masks whenever leaving the table. This did not happen with a number of diners so, I would suggest if they make such a ruling they should Make sure to enforce it. That said, I would definitely visit this restaurant again when next in Bordeaux
