Fancy place but without foam, jelly or any other of that annoying “Michelin” typical stuff. Just yummy, well made French food, not too gourmet. Our only quibble is that the cheese plate was a little bit uninspiring (the cheeses felt a bit too simple and regular compared to other cheese plates we’ve had). Definitely worth visiting!

The amuse bouche, starter and dessert were very nice. The main course however disappointing. The duckbrest was served plain no sauce, just with some very dull tasting "risotto". It made it a rather disappointing experience after previously haven eaten here very well. The front of house service is very good, but if the kitchen lets you down .......

Good food, especially the sorbets (café and blackberry flavors). The atmosphere is ok. The food was good (cod with pea clafoutis) but not spectacular. Fair price with discount, otherwise I think there are much better options nearby. Especially, because there's no view. Would I go there again? Probably not.

C'était pas mal, les sorbets sont très bons. Le cabillaud était bon, mais pas quelque chose spectaculaire. Bonne prix avec la réduction, autrement je choisissais un autre restaurant.

Entrée plat dessert au choix sur la carte......velouté de champignon oeuf poche, oeuf beaucoup trop cuit presque dur il a fini sa cuisson dans le velouté Bouillant! !
Souris d agneau. ...trop cuite et mal cuite, on est loin de la cuisson basse température qui caramélisé l agneau. ...
Accompagnement insipide, une écrasée de pomme de terre....sans aucune saveur, bouillie, aucune liaison avec un quelconque crème, manquait de sel....une emulsionouvelle sans goût.
Un crumble au fruit beaucoup trop doux....avec une tuile au carambar encore plus collante que le bonbon....
Mais bon même si c est le dessert qui se en sort le mieux.....le ensemble est très décevant.

Nous avons comme d'habitude passé un très bon moment au Charles Livon. Accueil et service toujours aussi irréprochable. Cuisine soignée et la hauteur de nos attentes.
