Nice setting and friendly service. The food was fine, the fois gras perhaps a little low on flavour but generous portions and coupled with lovely fruit flavours. The cassoulet was a bit heavy on white beans but I guess this is typical of this South West French dish.

Strange experience. Starters were great but main courses seemed unfinished and plates undressed. As if the cook had left. Found some blood leaking from one of the chicken bones, I would not have served it. And there was a piece of beef in the middle. Disappointing because the ingredients were of very good quality . The service was slow and one of the tables complained, breaking the atmosphere
