About the restaurant Le Clarence

My daughter and I had the 3 course surprise lunch set. The 3 courses are actually accompanied by several accompanying side dishes and the desert were 3 mini varieties. Every dish looked like a piece of art. The crawfish appetizer was cooked to a perfect texture. The wild strawberry desert was very delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant and service was great. Price was reasonable too for a restaurant of this standing.

The restaurant is located in an outstanding parisian hôtel particulier, it oozes the typical charm and luxury of old French houses. I booked there for a romantic evening dinner and the place was a fit match for the occasion. We first had a drink in the salon on 2nd floor where one can either choose from a range of wines from the house (especially chateau Haut Brion) or other chateaux. After this pleasant stay in the salon we had dinner on 1st floor. The service is impeccable as one would expect and the food is delicious. I strongly recommend this restaurant. The bill is a bit on the expensive side, we ate for 400 euros (2 people), but definitely worth it. Staff. Is adorable, i think it is worth mentioning.

My husband and I went on our last night in Paris, both the food and service was impeccable!! Their vast collection of wines were just amazing. The decor puts you back in the 1800s with a very classic touch. Very expensive but worth every penny. Great for a romantic evening.
