Excellent
The food was Fantastic, well presented , And great value. Very welcoming and friendly staff. An extremely pleasant evening. Thank you very much.
Our meal was a delight. Fine dining certainly from the 58€ menu. So def for special occasions. Great service. Warm and friendly with great advice from the sommelier on wine. Pleasing stone walled dining room was busy but not noisy at all. Recommended for special occasions incl couples and groupds
We had the big menu surprise. It was phantastic
We are 2 couples traveling fr the US. We thought this restaurant was fabulous!
Nice environment, good service, good food and great wine list.
The food was good, well prepared. The menu was a bit limited, wish there was more choice. It was one of the better restaurants in St. Emilion.
Some dishes like fish were really good, pork and pigeon were nothing special. Wine recommendations were good, lovely setting in a garden. Overally nice impression, but the waiting times between the dishes were quite long and the price - considering the quality of the food - was too high.
Simply briliant! Warm service, creative tasty food, and an amazing wine list. Highly recommended.
Okay.
Food disappointing and one of the waitresses looked really miserable. Don’t know why it’s rated so highly
If you are in Saint-Émilion do not miss this restaurant. Superb, creative menus with excellent service and wine list. A must eat!!
Just fine!
Bonne tables
Very small menu with few limited choices. The main course lamb dish was exceptional but the remainder very unremarkable. I don't think I would return. We were shown to small table that was cramped yet restaurant wasn't booked or busy.
Wonderful meal with delightful service. Presentation was elegant and food inventive and delicious.
I had eaten at Le Clos du Roy 15 years ago so was excited to take family there this time. I was disappointed. The menu was not great, the food was average and the dessert was terrible!! And it was very expensive. We did like our bottle of wine. The next evening we ate at the country chateau we stayed at and the dinner was much better. I did not care for the attitude of the woman who greeted/seated us and took our order. I would not go back to this restaurant.
Good cooking and large portions. Rather traditional in approach and perhaps a little expensive for what it was but overall it was fine. Good wine list.
Food was good but not outstanding. I liked that there were two choices to select from the Menu. I wouldn't order a la carte: too expensive. They asked how I wanted my duck cooked but never asked my husband and made his the same as mine: not good. The room was very warm but the decor very chic and modern, beautiful linens. Overall, it was ok and good attitude. Not a place I'd return to but not bad.
