Food is great. Staff very attentive. All with a bit of drama thrown in. My beef was cut with a sabre at the table. Fantastic!!

Excellent food, but the welcome, the obvious love of the food they served and great wine suggestions was second to none.

Lovely setting, lovely people, very good meal. We chose to sit in the garden, though it turned out to be a bit damp as the night wore on. Extremely nice & helpful staff. Menu was somewhat small, but food very good with large portions. Interesting and a bit innovative preparations.

Hidden down a tiny cobbled alley is this gem of a restaurant. In the heat of summer the cool shade in the garden was very welcome. The staff are very good, bilingual, and friendly. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. We had the "Bouef Noir" and would happily recommend it - but have it rare not medium. Extensive wine list with some at very reasonable prices. We will definitely go back and try it later in the year

Lovely food in a beatiful courtyard. Very attentive and friendly service. I am coeliac and was very happy to see dishes clearly marked as gluten free (good choice of GF dishes) and staff happy to answer my questions. Strongly recommended.

One of the best restaurants we have visited in along while. we have come a second time and evdry effort was worth our efforts. All the plates were amazing and the menu where you can rest assured of the somelier's decision on the wine to accompany each & every plate is recommended.
We are very much recommending to trust the owner for every recommensation.

This is the second time we've been here and just like the first time we were happy with the food, the ambiance, and the welcome we received. The only disappointment was the 'black beef' that Husband ordered. The presentation was great (cut at the table with a big sword), but the meat was chewy and tough with very little flavor. Husband was very disappointed. My mom and I, however, were very happy- me with my vegetarian entrée and meal (soufflé with the most delicious mushrooms I've ever eaten on the side and for dinner a thai noodle dish), and my mom (with her foie gras trio and fish cheek and scallop dish.) The desserts were good too. We skipped the cheese because we were full. There were also two amuse bouches, one was a pastry with cheese and ham along with a ball of goat cheese (good) and the other a foie gras soup(?) The taste was good, but it was served in a shot glass, making it so that your nose got a great big whiff of it before drinking. Whiff of liver up close? Not so nice. We will be back!

This was a truly memorable experience from start to finish! We were greeted in a most friendly manner by Patrick, having visited before a couple of years earlier. Last time we sat in the courtyard, which was wonderful on a warm evening, but on this occasion we were in the dining room at a very pleasant table with nice view of all that was happening. The service from Patrick and all the team was absolutely first class throughout and the food carefully explained so that we could really appreciate the dishes. A super bottle of Madiran reasonably priced completed a wonderful eating experience. We will include Le Clos on our schedule for any future visits to Perigueux.
