Great restaurant! Good service, great whine (only french). My wife is gluten and lactose intolerant, chef is great with Allergies.

For a French restaurant, it was really disappointing to receive cold bearnaise sauce (from a jar), rather than home made warm sauce.

Nice setting, welcoming staff. Great selection of wine and food. A little long wait for the starters, but worth while. We surely be back.

Best new find in Amsterdam. Staff, food, decor...literally everything was amazing! All the dishes were excellent and they even made gluten-free dishes!

This is a place that has the rare quality of being appropriate for every occasion. I see there people young and old, friends, colleagues and couples. Ive been for a fancy night out and a casual dinner and it just FITS. The food level and selection is great, (black pudding, steak and fish have all been great but honestly everything is excellent) and they have an excellent wine menu. Service is superb and often even mature, an exception in Amsterdam. Oh! And they have marie stella maris products in the bathroom. Very littleroom for improvement.

Great service. Food was very nice and so were the recommended wines, paired with each dish.

A wonderful and refreshingly honest French style restaurant in the heart of the hip 9 straatjes-Jordaan. Friendly service, excellent wine and memorable starters.

Celebrating a special occasion and chose this restaurant. From the moment you step into this restaurant you have a mix of trendy yet authentic French. We were served by Danielle, Nina and Kim. all three amazingly friendly and professional. I have to say Danielle was the star of the night, the service was beyond what I expected. She gave good recommendations and advised our wine. Love to have small talk and get to know a place with this way. The food was very good, a bit cold, but this was because I probably asked to many questions. The food was very good, the tenderloin was perfectly medium done. Steak tartare was the perfect starter for me. The vibe is so welcoming that this for me was like the perfect dinner evening. I would for sure recommend this place. I will be back for sure.

Perhaps we just had a bad night...but struggle to see how others rank this place well. What they do well? Great wines and cosy casual setting! Where they fail? They restaurant was only 30% full...yet it took an extraordinary long time to get food served! Even the very over priced oysters, when they arrived, were served far too cold and not separated from the bottom shell. The mains took an hour to be served after the entrees....and when we asked why if food would arrive soon (we didnt complain..just inquired) we have been waiting long we got rude biting responses from the waitress. The food was good...but just ok...nothing worth remembering...basic. Advice? Its a cozy spot...focus on customer service!

This restaurant is a true hidden gem. Lovely decor, delicious dish offering yet tentative service. We started our evening with pumpkin soup and off-menu fennel soup. The seasoning was spot on and what we needed was pinch of cracked black pepper. Speaking of wines, they do not have set wine pairing to go along with each dish. However, do not hesitate to ask your servers, they will reccomend nice pairing wine to go along with your dishes. For main dishes, we ordered pan seared sea bass with lemon risotto and off-menu sweet bread with sweet peas and gnocchi. Delicious! To close our evening, we decided to order strawberry mousse with meringue on top and crust on bottom and cups of coffee. Amazing! Lovely staffs and service was above and beyond what we expected. Definitely we reccomend this restaurant.

Well-executed French classics in a nice environment, with a good wine list by the glass. Very recommendable!

The food was excellent and tasty. The service was relaxed and attentive. I don't drink alcohol and unfortunately they don't have any non-alcoholic cocktails, which was the only minus point in the whole experience

The food was great but the service was inattentive and impersonal and the portion size among mains was variable.

Quite like being in a Parisian Bistro, except I probably like the decor better here! The dishes were large and rich, the wine selection by the glass very interesting, (also by the bottle) and the staff swift, knowledgable and well trained. Even the bathrooms were great! A wonderful place to treat yourself. (Only bad comment is about the Rabbit Terrine. Odd texture.)

Beautiful restaurant. All of our dinners were superb from the oysters to the veal . Service was very pleasant. All of our dishes were beautifully cooked and delicious. Only negative we finished our meal and requested the desert menu to be told kitchen was closed. Would have been helpful to have been advised of the kitchen closing time when ordering as this influenced meal choices, we chose dishes to leave room for desert but this was unavailable our table was 830.
